If these allegations are true, it's tragic, disheartening, heinous, use whatever synonyms you can think of. If not, I see big lawsuits coming.

It's likely true, sadly, Mr Mysterious.

I've heard of Fr Rizzo before and what he suffered at the hands of SSPX hierarchs.

"Let all bitterness and animosity and indignation and defamation be removed from you, together with every evil. And become helpfully kind to one another, inwardly compassionate, forgiving among yourselves, just as God also graciously forgave you in the Anointed." – St. Paul

Michael Wilson

This is truly horrible. However, Fr. Rizzo has no grounds to pointing the finger at others; when he left the SSPX in 1992 (circa), he was interviewed by "Fidelity" magazine; in the article which cites his testimony, he never mentions any issue of sex abuse by Fr. Angles, only the "NAZI" aspect. But according to this article he was aware of said abuse.
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers

John Lamb

But Jesus did not trust himself unto them: for that he knew all men, And because he needed not that any should give testimony of man: for he knew what was in man.

Very disturbing stuff here.

I'll just add: We moved to our current location when we found out we were having children with the main purpose of being near an SSPX school. Our first child will be old enough to start kindergarten in a couple years. This sort of stuff really makes me rethink where my trust should lie.

Terribly disappointed to hear of the allegations against Fr. Kenneth Novak. I certainly hope they aren't true.

In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

I'll gladly volunteer to light the bonfire or pull the trigger on anyone who abuses children, priest or layman. I don't think anyone I've met believes the SSPX is perfect.

But, this is pretty rich coming from CM, an organization consistently lambasted as itself "breakaway" and disobedient (to the point they had to change their name from Real Catholic TV at the order of the local Bishop), is headed by an admitted faggot who surrounds himself with young male interns, and one of their correspondents/head dudes (Simon Rafe) got outed for writing pornographic (including homsexual) fanfic crap and "Adult" RPG's. (https://www.patheos.com/blogs/deaconsbench/2011/08/new-problems-surface-for-michael-voris-and-realcatholictv/)

I guess by their own logic, they are sympathetic to perverts and should be avoided.

I'll say something on Fr. Novak: He is a very holy priest and is very zealous for souls; he is always in town speaking to all the people here and wherever he goes, he does the same. There are many people in St. Marys who hate the SSPX but love Fr. Novak, because of his kindness and charity. Re. The allegations against him: I don't believe he seduced any women; he has advised women who were being abused by their spouses, that they did not have to remain in that situation, and has even helped them to find shelter away from an abusive spouse.

During my time attending SSPX chapels Fr. Novak was one of the priests who served our chapel. I always had a good opinion of him and he certainly was a "man's man". I hope your assessment is correct.

Although I found the report backed up with solid evidence I couldn't help but notice that CMTV certainly doesn't come across as a dispassionate source of information. Their disdain for the SSPX is so thinly veiled as to be completely in the open.

I know Father Novak personally, and so does Greg.

It reminds me of an exchange long ago on a boys camp with Greg in Skidmore's Place, New Hampshire.

James Lillis : (sleepily, having just got up) 'death rather than sin.'
Mr. Novak   :  "Lillis, you can do better than that!"
James Lillis : "DEATH, RATHER THAN SIN !!!"
Mr. Novak   : "Hey Lillis, you look like you're pumping iron."

You had to be there to see how funny it was.

:-)

Imagine the calumny's which must have been aimed at St. John Bosco.  He ran a boys school.

Methinks Mr Voris doth protest too much.

Something else about Fr. Novak; if anybody is dying without the sacraments, Fr. Will do all in his power to bring them to a good death; he has pulled many souls out of the fire in the last moment. We need more priests like him.

One thing that strikes me is the timing of this report. It comes right on the heels of the spat between Taylor Marshall and the Gordon Brothers on the topic of the SSPX and Patrick Coffin's recent screed against the SSPX on Twitter.

It also comes on the heels of reports that the Vatican rejected the SSPX's request for further doctrinal discussions and on the same day that sweeping changes were made in the SSPX hierarchy for several districts and seminaries internationally.
