Probably Toronto, since I was born there and it still feels familiar.

But Quebec City is also in the running since that is where my husband proposed to me.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.

I am sorry for the times I have publicly criticized others on this forum, especially traditional Catholic religious, and any other scandalous posts and pray that no one reads or believes these false and ignorant statements.

I have been fortunate enough to have visited many cities in Europe. I end up liking every one of them, albeit for different reasons.

But off the top of my head, if I had to point out a few favorites, I'd say Istanbul, Rome, Prague and Vienna.
DISPOSE OUR DAYS IN THY PEACE, AND COMMAND US TO BE DELIVERED FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION, AND TO BE NUMBERED IN THE FLOCK OF THINE ELECT.

"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers

The Curt Jester

My hometown, which was a run-down, crime-infested small city with high taxes, insane rules, and lousy neighbors.  But it was home and always will be in a sense.
The royal feast was done; the King
Sought some new sport to banish care,
And to his jester cried: "Sir Fool,
Kneel now, and make for us a prayer!"

The jester doffed his cap and bells,
And stood the mocking court before;
They could not see the bitter smile
Behind the painted grin he wore.

He bowed his head, and bent his knee
Upon the Monarch's silken stool;
His pleading voice arose: "O Lord,
Be merciful to me, a fool!"

Krakow, has it all then Melbourne (didn't like Sidney or Cairns)

Worst city, Bangkok but the people were amazing and the nicest out of anywhere I went.

This song does not represent my own views.  I just can't resist a song cue.

I haven't travelled much, but I really enjoyed spending time in Boston recently with my daughter.  Also, when I was in High School I spent a month in Brasil, in a little town called Macaé. I'd say that one is my favorite.  Beautiful place, and fantastic food.

I do have a special place in my heart for my hometown, as well.  If the question was "if you could live anywhere, where would it be?",that would probably be my answer.

What did you not like about Bangkok?

I haven't traveled very widely either. I've spent a lot of time outside the U.S. but always in the same few places.

I love Paris for the architecture, the food, the shopping, and the general culture.

I'm also fond of the city where I was born, for much the same reasons I love Paris.  :)

Rome. I was very happy during my time there. I still dream about it frequently.
