Books about historical events of Our Lady of Fatima

I've read books about Fatima, but never one that shows actual historical proof. I'd basically like to read a book that tries to convince me about the apparition, and gives me a timeline with sources. Does anyone know of such a book?
The message of Fatima is great, but I worry that the prophecies aren't even true. For example, Sr. Lucia apparently had a dream of a man in white walking through a war zone and bullets coming at him, and somehow this was supposed to predict the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II. But clearly these are different situations and hardly have anything similar. So, I am interested in a book that "sells" me Fatima with actual proof.
If not a book, then a documentary at least. I just want actual proof, and someone to explain how the prophecies came true and aren't just far fetched
