Laudamus Te magazine - What happened?

I imagine that some of you tradverts are familiar with the monthly "Magnificat" magazine/booklet published each month.  A few years back, some traddies tried to make a 1962 version called "Laudamus Te".

What in the world happened to them?  I seem to remember them folding, but does anyone have any further information?

I can't help but think that if they had stuck at it and publicized better, they'd have found a decent market.  Or, they could have shifted over to PDF/e-publishing and built up or into a print magazine.

They meant well but had no business sense.

I had completely forgotten about this magazine, until you mentioned it.  I actually bought a subscription, years ago.  I never got a print copy, though  :-\. They sent me a PDF copy, saying they couldn't afford to do the print copy.  They fizzled out shortly after.  I wish they hadn't.  I would still really like a traditional equivalent of Maganificat.

Would you be willing to send me a copy of the PDF copy you received?

I would, but I can't access it right now.  If I still have it, it's on my external hard drive.  Our desktop died, and we are in the process of deciding what we want to replace it with.  I use my tablet for Internet right now.  If I remember when we get a new one (not sure when, exactly), I'll look for it and send it to you.

Actually, I just remembered.  I can connect to my hard drive with my husband's work laptop.  I'll ask him bring it home one day next week. We're going out of town this weekend, so I won't have time until then.  Say a prayer to St. Anthony that I can find it, and didn't delete it  ;)

Yeah. It doesn't really seem needed because we don't have the silly cycle the Novus Ordo does. The money has always been with the daily missals.

I've found a desire for something like it...   [emoji14]

I think it'd be an immensely helpful thing, at least for myself.  :D

This.

A thinner, seasonal prayer magazine might work (and maybe include a cheat sheet guide to the Sundays after Epiphany or Pentecost for that year if seasonal), but there is no need to reissue a paperback every few months with all the readings printed out.

https://reginamag.com - this is one traditional(ist) Catholic magazine I just found online (at least it  supports the Latin Mass and FSSP, even if perhaps it is not hard-core traditionalist).  It seems to be current and you can subscribe by email and look at back issues.

Unfortunately this doesn't meet the purpose of "Magnificat" or "Laudamus Te". Just thought I would mention it.
[Matthew 8:26]  And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm.

[Job  38:1-5]  Then the Lord answered Job out of a whirlwind, and said: [2] Who is this that wrappeth up sentences in unskillful words? [3] Gird up thy loins like a man: I will ask thee, and answer thou me. [4] Where wast thou when I laid up the foundations of the earth? tell me if thou hast understanding. [5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Jesus, Mary, I love Thee! Save souls!

Also needs a better proofreader.  Clicked one article.  Read the first line.  Found a grammatical error.

I had a subscription to Laudemaus Te and received one or two issues and then, as somebody previously said, they fizzled out. I too would be interested in something like this.

Do you have any copies you'd be willing to digitize and send me?

I spent the weekend looking for old copies and haven't found them. They may have been purged in my last move. Here are some links that discuss the magazine with some pictures.
