Jesus son of David, have mercy on me.

Two spaces between sentences - that's what I learned in typing class.

I was taught two and that's what has stuck over the years.
"All the good works in the world are not equal to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass because they are the works of men; but the Mass is the work of God. Martyrdom is nothing in comparison for it is but the sacrifice of man to God; but the Mass is the sacrifice of God for man." - St. John Vianney

Me, too.  I like the idea of a blue space.
For a Child is born to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace

Two.

And it isn't just a holdover from the days of typewriters - handwriting conventions usually included extra spacing between sentences.
Son, when thou comest to the service of God, stand in justice and in fear, and prepare thy soul for temptation.

Yep, same with me.

So far, we've got 7 votes for 2 spaces, and none for anything else.

Take THAT, Penelope!

I am under the impression of double spacing is now considered archaic.

It may depend on what you are doing and where it is going?

I was taught one space...I think...but I also use the caps lock button instead of the shift key for capital letters. My boss made fun of me for days after he saw that.
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable,
most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God
be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored
and glorified in Heaven, on earth,
and under the earth,
by all the creatures of God,
and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Amen.

(block quote; blue is mine)

3.5 Characters and Paragraphs
Characters are the letters, punctuation marks, numbers, symbols that you type as
the text. Character formatting determines how characters appear on a page. It is
recommended that you use a standard font of approximately 12 point size. You
can use bold, italic or underlined words to highlight the key words in your text.
Do not indent the first line; use a blank line to separate the paragraphs. A
paragraph is a series of sentences. Just as you control the appearance of the
individual characters, you should control the appearance of a paragraph. You need
to use 1.5 line spacing for all of your written reports;
3 lines between paragraphs

Oh, that's for between lines.

For this poll, I was talking about between sentences.

Examples:
These are sentences.  This pair of sentences has two spaces between them.

These are more sentences. This has one space between.

1 1/2 ---- I have no clue who or where this was beat into me, but I seem to recall some solemn oath or eccentric style guide.

How the heck do you do 1 1/2 spaces on a keyboard?
