A recent poster introduced himself and said he needed advice because he wanted to get married, and was wasting all of his money buying books, because he was afraid that they would go out of print and not be available. I said, except for the marriage part, that sounds like me!! Even worse, we are reading "Fahrenheit 451" at school, that made me even more anxious!  :laugh:

I'd like to buy them but I live in Canada and the shipping was just too much.

True story:

I ordered books once off of TAN and had them shipped to Vancouver.

Took like 10 weeks.

For some unknown reason, they were shipped from the Carolinas to Malmo, Sweden, to Cinci, to Toronto to Vancouver (I know from all the stamps on the box).

The best part is my brother was studying in Malmo, Sweden at the time and arrived 2 weeks before the books. Should have shipped them to him had I known better.


I promise that's a true story. TAN ain't getting my business again (except via Amazon) with that nonsense.

Wow! I have actually bought some of their books from Amazon and at least I get free shipping.
