This is a very good video which outlines the problems with the series "The Chosen". I never was interested in watching the series and now I understand how manipulative it is.

In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

I'll have to watch that video later, but so far, I've seen every episode of The Chosen and really like it. The only obvious Catholic problem I've noticed involved Mary saying giving birth to Jesus was painful. Other than that, I've thought it was really good.

The chosen so far has the best Jesus :)

The only problematic thing I've seen for Catholics in The Chosen is that Mary mentioned giving birth to Jesus was painful. That's it. I've watched the first two seasons multiple times and have only seen the most recent season once so maybe I missed some things there, but I recommend the show to everyone.

Granted, they could definitely screw it up later on, but as of now, it's been very good.

Not all of it. When they were accusing the Chosen of mocking John the Baptist, I gave up on it. The Chosen does not mock John the Baptist. Simon does in the beginning, but it's not for the purpose of encouraging the audience or anything to disrespect John the Baptist. It's done to show where Simon is and his view on holy things in the beginning. It makes Simon look bad where he's at, not John the Baptist. The video is just digging for something that's not there with this argument.
