Ukraine has supposedly found an answer to minefields. After sundown they send up drones equipped with some sort of temperature sensors. The mines evidently retain the warmth of the days sun and once located the Ukes drop some type of bombs that detonate the mines. Several at a time.

I doubt it'll make a huge difference.  It's still an obstacle that has to be cleared, which slows down advances, and you still have to advance through paths cleared in the minefields.  The Russians in the morning could see where their mines were cleared and dial their artillery in.  That's the point of minefields, not so much as an actual barrier.

It is clever though.  Maybe the Russians will have to make wood or plastic mines

This is more like some corrupt Ukrainians and corrupt Western businessmen are still pissed that Russia stopped putting up with their extortion racket thus re-routing their Pipelines to Europe through other avenues and thus bypassing Ukraine entirely. Furthermore, ironically, now German leadership can't push their woke green agenda bullshit as hard on the western world anymore because they have been exposed as the sham it was now that Nord Stream 2 is no more, so the USA Deep State really shot themselves in the foot there.

If Ukraine wants to fight Russia and the Ukrainian people want to die for Ukrainian and Western Oligarchs then go right ahead, I can't stop them, but don't try and drag me into your bullshit, which is what they are trying to do with false flags and escalation tactics, which serve no real purpose other than escalation and trying to start WWIII, to try and make everyone as miserable as themselves due to their own corruption and stupidity.

Missing F-35: US military asks for public's help to find jet

The US military has asked for the public's help to locate one of its $100m (£80m) F-35B fighter jets after the pilot ejected from the aircraft.

It went missing on Sunday afternoon when the pilot was flying over the southern state of South Carolina.

The pilot, who has not been named, ejected and parachuted safely. He is in a stable condition in hospital.

Officials said the aircraft was involved in a "mishap" but did not offer details of what that was.....

Artist Maria Timchenko was planning to open an art gallery to show her works in Kyiv when she found herself facing criminal charges for allegedly distributing pornographic content.

After someone shared her erotic paintings on the Telegram messaging app, the 37-year-old artist says she was looking at up to three years in prison and $1,800 for the distribution of pornography. Her plans shattered, she left Ukraine to settle in Germany.

Producing and distributing pornography is currently illegal in Ukraine. Broad interpretations of the law mean that even sharing a nude photograph with a partner can land a person in jail.

In 2023 already, 699 cases have been opened over the distribution, sale, and production of pornography, not including cases of child pornography.

In one case in July, a court in Poltava Oblast fined a woman almost $1,000 for sending two videos to her boyfriend. Meanwhile, in Sumy Oblast, a man was convicted to three years in prison with one year of probation for sending intimate photos and videos via a dating website.

Lawmakers and advocates say this has to change. In their view, the decades-old prohibition of pornography harms ordinary citizens by going after them for consensual sexual content, wasting state resources in the process.

The Ukrainian lads will soon be out there fighting and dying for porn.

What will happen to Crimea and Eastern Ukraine claimed by both Russian and Ukraine?

Crimea and the Donbas are part of Russia according to the vote.  Russia acknowledged the vote outcome.

There is no way Russia is abandoning those lands.  And Crimea is their main naval base.  Not going to happen.
