Computer Recs for Aunt

My aunt's 10 year old desktop is about to croak. She uses it for checking email, paying bills, and keeping spreadsheets of household accounts. Her monitor and wireless mouse are so old, they won't connect to a newer tower, so she'll have to buy new ones of those, too. She wants a desktop. What would be good for her? Thanks, all.

They do make adapters to connect older monitors, etc., into newer equipment.

Buy a used iMac.

Well I was wrong, the computer was bought in 2015.  :o She's getting a Dell. I asked my uncle, who used to teach computer classes at university, and that's what he picked out.

I don't know the specs. He just said it came with a CPU, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Crazy amount of value.  The memory speed is likely faster than the CPU.  Should work with the old monitor with an adaptor.
