Pope Francis
"I also think with affection of those Muslim immigrants who this evening begin the fast of Ramadan, which I trust will bear abundant spiritual fruit. The Church is at your side as you seek a more dignified life for yourselves and your families. To all of you: o'scià!"

Ah yes, the abundant spiritual fruit of Islam during this holy season of Ramadan! May Saint John Baptist protect Islam; the religion of peace, love and tolerance!

It's really getting ridiculous isn't it?  How people can continue to take the Conciliar religion seriously is beyond me. It has become a total joke.

Well, that wasn't good.

Why do I hear this coming out of a man who has just been run over by a garbage truck?

His new church may be at their side. The Mystical Body of Christ is not.

The conciliar church is like the zombified version of the true Church. It may look like the Catholic Church, have "Catholic" in it's name, and so on, but for anyone who has watched a zombie flick would know, is a completely different thing.

He (the head of the Catholic Church which threw out 99% of its fasting) tells heretics that fasting brings much spiritual fruit.
In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

Not everyone would believe that he is the head of the Catholic Church. He certainly is the head of a new sect in Rome.

Yea, that's the problem. Spiritual fruit from hell.

The suspension of any shred of logic needed to try and interpret this in some kind of a Catholic understanding is beyond anything that I can muster.

?This argument [that the Gospel has not been preached to all, therefore not all are given the aids necessary for salvation]only proves that not all people receive the help they need to believe and be converted immediately. It does not, however, prove that some people are deprived, absolutely speaking, of sufficient help for salvation. For the pagans to whom the Gospel has not yet been preached, can know from His creatures that God exists; [54] then they can be stimulated by God, through His preventing grace, to believe in God, that He exists and that He is the rewarder of those who seek Him: and from such faith, they can be inspired, under the guidance and help of God, to pray and give alms and in this way obtain from God a still greater light of faith, which God will communicate to them, either by Himself or through angels or through men.?   Saint Robert Bellarmine
De Gratis et Libero Aritrio, lib. 2, cap. 8.

"Let me, however, beg of Your Beatitude...
not to think so much of what I have written, as of my good and kind intentions. Please look for the truths of which I speak rather than for beauty of expression. Where I do not come up to your expectations, pardon me, and put my shortcomings down, please, to lack of time and stress of business." St. Bonaventure, From the Preface of Holiness of Life.

We stopped binding it under penalty of grave sin, I hardly call that throwing it out.  Anyone who wants to make spiritual progress must fast in someway.

Do you know of any N.O. priests who recommend it? It was removed from the calendar. I know they didn't prohibit it but no one speaks of its spiritual fruit.
