Thanks for posting this, Fleur I love this song, it is so beautiful. It is poetry in many languages. And you do not need to understand Arabic to feel what it says.

This song was used in a Brazilian soap opera/novela & loved by many around the world.
I never watched it, but I know people that loved it.

It is also interesting to see the strong Arabic influence in Spanish & Latin America music.
The accordions, guitars, dance moves, even some of the dresses/costumes used.

So, they not only influenced the food, the language, they also had a huge impact on
the music & culture as a whole. I guess that is what 800 years of "camping" out
in Spain does
