Yosef Karduner - Psalm 121 (sung in Hebrew)

[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHwDuygn-jE[/yt]

A song for ascents. I shall raise my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come?
My help is from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to falter; Your Guardian will not slumber.
Behold the Guardian of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your Guardian; the Lord is your shadow; [He is] by your right hand.
By day, the sun will not smite you, nor will the moon at night.
The Lord will guard you from all evil; He will guard your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from now and to eternity.

You're welcome.  It might not've been thread appropriate, since maybe you were looking for the singing of the Psalms.  (I have no idea what the subject line of the OP is).  I discovered that singer because he did some medieval Hebrew chants for Hesperion XXI on their Mare Nostrum CD.  The video I posted is much more secular-sounding, but I do like Sephardic music with its Middle Eastern tinge.  Unfortunately the Hesperion songs aren't on YouTube as performance clips, and I hate it when YouTubers put up "slide shows."  I'm very fussy that way.  I like either a single image or a performance.  I hate YouTube slide shows.  So I didn't embed them.  But they're more along the lines of sacred music.

I didn't have anything in particular in mind, Pon. The thread title is just the name of the psalm in Hebrew. :)
