Basically, in a major victory for those who want to practice their religious beliefs freely, the Supreme Court ruled that religious individuals could not be forced to make or provide or services that violated their religious beliefs, in the Masterpiece Cakeshop case in 2018.

However, another case, State of Washington v. Arlene's Flowers ,  popped up in 2017, where a florist who declined to serve flowers in Same-Sex weddings, was sued by the ACLU and the Attorney General of Washington. The Supreme Court of Washington ruled that she was liable - the ACLU and Attorney General won. However, The Supreme Court of the United States took it up for review, and remanded it, telling them that they need to interpret it in light of the Masterpiece Cakeshop case.

The Supreme Court of Washington ruled, however, that in light of the Masterpiece Cakeshop case, it's different because the Executive Branch of the State is involved, and therefore, it didn't apply.

And now they are asking for the Supreme Court to review it.

Hopefully God Wills it that the Supreme Court will pick it up again and they lay down the just hammer of the law, and not let iniquity and persecution against orthodox Christianity begin.

Tales

It is not a war against religious liberty or against religion in general, it is a war against Christianity (be it orthodox or heretical).  The West has no problem with Judaism (of any flavor), Mohammedanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, or whatever else, provided it is not Christianity.  The target of the West is exclusively Christianity.  Even many Christians are against the religion of Christianity.  Go ask an evangelical what he thinks about religion.

The thing the West cannot tolerate are authoritative moral declarations from the Church.  It cuts directly against liberty, which people rightly or wrongly take as the idolization of self choice, self sovereignty.  Interestingly things like Mohammedanism do impose such restrictions upon man as well but Westerners are accepting of this because it is their Western choice to convert or not.  But if it is Christian then it is merely something we Westerners were born into, a part of our culture foisted upon us against our choice, and thus it is rejected.  The West is fighting to have society be a blank slate upon which each new actor can craft his own life (almost assuredly to his destruction, but that is ok as long as he had it his way).

The Christian religion has never collapsed so greatly as in land where it was merely tolerated.  Persecution makes saints, and saints bring converts and strengthens resolve of lesser folks such as myself.

'Liberal' Christianity of LTBTQFGSDFE ministries and protection of illegal migration appears perfectly good to the powers that be. Any effort at genuine faithfulness is becoming hazardous. A Finnish politician posting against Lutheran approval of a 'gay pride' parade got herself investigated for 'hate crime.'
Padre Pio: Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.

Especially for the "assuredly to his destruction" part.  It is absolutely amazing (in the most negative sense) to see what this whole process does to its victims.  Every word of the New Testament is yet again proven true, and most people don't even stand the slightest chance, ever, in Europe.  A cronicle could be written about this.  This is almost pulpable.

It's got nothing to do with liberty. Although the dummies that buy into the concept are plentiful. There is no protection of individuals from the strong without existence of the moral order.

And that is why parents and schools do everything to remove the moral order.
