Today Father solemnly recited a prayer in Latin after Gospel reading. Could someone tell me what is the name of this prayer.
Probably the Publication of Movable Feasts for the year (a.k.a. the Noveritis). It's found in the Pontificale Romanum, and used to be required in Cathedrals and other major churches, optional in parishes/smaller churches. Ideally it should be sung by the highest ranking Deacon, who would not participate as a Sacred Minister in the Mass, and would leave his place in choir during the Gradual to go vest in surplice and cope, then emerge to sing the Noveritis immediately after the Gospel.
As it's becoming increasingly popular again, it usually just falls on the celebrant of the Mass to sing it, rather than the luxury of having an extra Deacon available.

Der Polka nailed it. It's the Noveritis: the proclamation of the date of Easter and other moveable feasts. I sang it last year. A bit less optimal as a non-deacon (I'm an instituted acolyte), but it was that or nothing.
