post-Communion prayer of Padre Pio
« on: September 23, 2022, 12:00:56 PM »
Not putting this on the Catholic Liturgical Life sub-forum since today's memorial is not on the traditional calendar and since he was a JPII canonization. Still, I like this prayer:

Nisi Dominus custodierit civitatem, frustra vigilat qui custodit eam (Psalm 126:2).
Benedicite, montes et colles, Domino: benedicite universa germinantia in terra, Domino (Daniel 3:75-76).
Put not your trust in princes: In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation (Psalm 145:2-3).

Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 1966, also a prayer for Padre Pio's beatification.
Padre Pio: Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.
