What would you do if you were drafted?

The Harlequin King

As a veteran, it would be difficult for me to avoid conscription. Citizens with prior service would be drafted long before fresh conscripts are considered.

Whether or not I'd respond to the call would depend on the war.

Not the way it worked in the draft that ended in '73. In fact, once your service was completed you dropped to the last callable classification, just above 4-F.

Well I think everyone has to protect their own kind, and the reason is that nobody else is going to.  For example, Europeans or Asians or Africans aren't going to protect my family.
