Easy question.  Say you were drafted into the US military to go off and fight a war...  what would you do?
Wie dein Sonntag, so dein Sterbetag.

I am not altogether on anybody's side, because nobody is altogether on my side.  ~Treebeard, LOTR

Jesus son of David, have mercy on me.

Bonaventure

I think I'd have to go in good conscience. If my commanding officer told me to do something I couldn't later (eg My Lai), I'd refuse.
Put not your trust in princes, in sons of men in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs he returns to his earth; on that very day his plans perish.

Mithrandylan

I would not go.  I would move to another country, or be put in jail.

ETA: My response is not universal.  I am assuming that you meant being drafted by the US military and in the present.  In other circumstance I might see going to war for country as something I could do in conscience.
Ps 135

For he was mindful of us in our affliction: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
And he redeemed us from our enemies: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who giveth food to all flesh: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the God of heaven: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the Lord of lords: * for his mercy endureth for ever.

Yes.  Modern day United States.

Would absolutely not go then.  In fact, I am uneasy about even reaping the "benefits" of our "freedoms" when the same freedoms also support evil.  Of course, any place I go to will be like that so it's more or less a necessary or excusable evil, but I cannot fight for it.  If I was called to, I'd refuse.

Do they grow pot?

I hear a lot of Canadiens grow pot.

Wouldn't go. Especially, when you see the future wars we might get into.
Fighting alongside and for those who massacred christians, no thanks.
If I go to the military, tis to fight for my country, not another.
Or else to fight for a real cause.
The world is charged with the grandeur of God.
    It will flame out, like shining from shook foil;
    It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil
Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod?
Generations have trod, have trod, have trod;
    And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil;
    And wears man's smudge and shares man's smell: the soil
Is bare now, nor can foot feel, being shod.

And for all this, nature is never spent;
    There lives the dearest freshness deep down things;
And though the last lights off the black West went
    Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs —
Because the Holy Ghost over the bent
    World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings.

If drafted by my country to fight, I would refuse and resist.

Hold on now. Think twice about your decision.
You would be asked to fight for these good men:
"Nothing is more miserable than those people who never failed to attack their own salvation. When there was need to observe the Law, they trampled it under foot. Now that the Law has ceased to bind, they obstinately strive to observe it. What could be more pitiable that those who provoke God not only by transgressing the Law but also by keeping it? But at any rate the Jews say that they, too, adore God. God forbid that I say that. No Jew adores God! Who say so? The Son of God say so. For he said: "If you were to know my Father, you would also know me. But you neither know me nor do you know my Father". Could I produce a witness more trustworthy than the Son of God?"  St. John Chrysostom  Sunday Homily

Correction you'd be asked by the one on the right to fight for the one on the left  (and his false occupied country).

Do you think the State has a moral right to conscript and draft young men to go to war?
