Despite all the distractions and discussions we have, there is one thing that is most important. It does not require any intellectual or physical ability, only a will which voluntarily submits to the will of God and does God's will.

This interior life is intimately personal and difficult to discuss, and therefore, one does not seem much discussion about it. Our learning usually based on theology, and words, rather than contemplation.

We use this forum largely for sharing information, thoughts, opinions, etc as well as assisting and encouraging each other, especially those who may be surrounded by contradiction.

My blog has posts which I think are helpful to Catholics seeking information on various subjects (most of my readers are from people searching for answers, and although I do not get much commenting or subscribing, I do get steadily increasing traffic). If any, in seeing my blog, find errors or have suggestions, please let me know.

In particular, for this forum, I think these posts may help one focus:

The Purpose of the Roman Catholic Church: The essential purpose is often overlooked and people get caught up in everything else.

The Errors of Traditional Catholics: Frequent distractions which may impede traditional Catholics of all sorts.

Secular Humanism and the Roman Catholic Church: Secular Humanism is increasingly becoming the formal and organized opposition to what God has given us. The reason for its appeal is that it makes an appeal to the intellect, rejects authority and holds nothing constant, and often presents a compelling morality.

And this is the focus we should have, not on debates, contentions, sects, and the like.

You touch the nerve of our ultimate goal, and it is too true that the interior life is neglected.
Put not your trust in princes, in sons of men in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs he returns to his earth; on that very day his plans perish.
