I have been told that the absolution after the confiteor at Mass absolves one of venial sins, is this true. I heard this from a former NO'er by the way who is just started to attend Mass at my Chapel. I told her to ask the Priest,as I myself am not sure of the answer. So anyone know what the answer is? :)
