Hey guys,

Just flipped a month ahead in my Angelus press 2013 calendar and noticed that March 25th isn't labeled as the Feast of the Annunciation, which it always is.  It's Monday in Holy week, is this why?
Ps 135

For he was mindful of us in our affliction: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
And he redeemed us from our enemies: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who giveth food to all flesh: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the God of heaven: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the Lord of lords: * for his mercy endureth for ever.

-I retract any and all statements I have made that are incongruent with the True Faith, and apologize for ever having made them-

I just flipped ahead to April and see that it is April 8.  Any thoughts?  I didn't think it was a moveable feast.

Put not your trust in princes, in sons of men in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs he returns to his earth; on that very day his plans perish.

Yep.  If it falls during Holy Week or during the octave, it gets transferred to the Monday after the octave.
Son, when thou comest to the service of God, stand in justice and in fear, and prepare thy soul for temptation.

Does this mean my birthday has to be celebrated on April 8th?!  ???

Nope, birthdays just get cancelled :(

It is when it falls in Holy Week.

totiusque

I normally finish St. Louis de Montfort's Total Consecration to Mary on the Annunciation.  I wonder if I should postpone it a couple weeks this year...
