yeah i mentioned that upthread lol. i guess it just has a lot to do with Old World European culture's synonomousity with Catholic culture; the vast majority of Trads i've known tend to be moderate but frequent drinkers. i mean, Catholic monks invented whiskey ffs... gotta be good for the soul...

Yes.  I had one iced with toffee syrup today.  I had three yesterday, two of them big with almond chocolate milk and a bit of maple syrup.

bottling my small batch of cider today; i promised the missus i'd make some apple cider vinegar for her out of the dregs as well, but i won't let that cut into my bottling day taste lol.

also got a couple Kopparbergs. i like putting them in my steins, as it really makes a noticeable difference when you put lager in them later.
