Finished watching Brideshead Revisited (the TV series, not the movie). Really wanting to read the book now.

Both are very good.

My fun for this week was a St Pat's day potluck after a Missa Cantata yesterday. :) :) :)

Cashed an old paycheck, got gas, learned how to etch a PCB with hydrogen peroxide and muriatic acid with possibly some of the nerdiest people ever, went shopping, ate ChikFilA, bought some brandy and Angostura bitters (to mix brandy Old Fashioneds), bought my favorite Louisville micro brew (German style altbier from BBC), came home, did my taxes, ordered Internet to be installed Monday, and planned a meet up with one of my mods and his wife.  Oh, and drank some brandy old fashioneds.

All in all.....today was a very good and fun day.  :)
When did you go to mass?

3pm Sunday.  I was describing Saturday!

Got my nails done a really really ridiculously bright fuchsia which will work well for Lent-into-Easter.

Saw a 3D IMAX movie with my fiance tonight! It's nice to have fun.

Ooooo what movie?

Sorry, I just saw this. We had seen The Great and Powerful Oz, which is the new Disney prequel to The Wizard of Oz about how the wizard got to Oz in the first place. I didn't go in with any expectations, so I thought it was really cute, and I thought it had great continuity with the original movie. My fiance liked it overall, too, but he doesn't care for Mila Kunis, so she kind of ruined it for him a little bit. The movie got a bunch of terrible reviews, though.  :-\

The world is charged with the grandeur of God.
    It will flame out, like shining from shook foil;
    It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil
Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod?
Generations have trod, have trod, have trod;
    And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil;
    And wears man's smudge and shares man's smell: the soil
Is bare now, nor can foot feel, being shod.

And for all this, nature is never spent;
    There lives the dearest freshness deep down things;
And though the last lights off the black West went
    Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs —
Because the Holy Ghost over the bent
    World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings.

You must be exhausted!  So privileged, though.
Ps 135

For he was mindful of us in our affliction: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
And he redeemed us from our enemies: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who giveth food to all flesh: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the God of heaven: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the Lord of lords: * for his mercy endureth for ever.

I baked cupcakes last night and felt like a fairy handing them out at work.

Yum!
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable,
most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God
be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored
and glorified in Heaven, on earth,
and under the earth,
by all the creatures of God,
and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Amen.

What kind of cupcakes?

I attended a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 with a friend and got a beer and pizza beforehand.

Confirmations, mass and conference with +W.  And there was food and beer, too.

Best evening I've had in a looooong time.
