Since I'm NOT afraid of clowns, I knew that I wouldn't be too scared in seeing it. It had a lot of funny moments, which I liked. The effects were great and I loved how Pennywise looked and acted. The main characters were written pretty good and I liked how they interacted with each other during their moments of fear. It had a decent amount of psychological terror being well-portrayed.

Overall, a surprisingly well-made remake and I can't wait for the sequel. :)

Maybe I should read the book it's based off someday.

The world is charged with the grandeur of God.
    It will flame out, like shining from shook foil;
    It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil
Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod?
Generations have trod, have trod, have trod;
    And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil;
    And wears man's smudge and shares man's smell: the soil
Is bare now, nor can foot feel, being shod.

And for all this, nature is never spent;
    There lives the dearest freshness deep down things;
And though the last lights off the black West went
    Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs —
Because the Holy Ghost over the bent
    World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings.

So what did you think?

Is it worth watching?
Did it make you consider whether the moon landings were fake?

I'd seen it on TV years ago, so it wasn't completely new to me. Watching it again, it was even better than I remembered. Definitely worth watching.

I've an open mind about the moon landings. I wouldn't be shocked if they had been faked.

55 Days at Peking starring Charleton Heston:

Go to about 3:33, and you'll start seeing different nation's national anthem performed. It has to do with the various foreign presences in China at the time. The movie is about the 1900 Boxer Rebellion there.

We also saw the movie about Babe Ruth starring John Goodman.

I remembered about that movie yesterday because of the feast day. I have not seen still though. We used to sell it at my job before my last one.
