Both of them were originally ordained in the N.O. And were re-ordained by Msgr Williamson and Msgr. Zendejas.

"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers

We had a wonderful priest fill in for our former pastor in Indianapolis, IN. He was a Father Phillipson. Probably the same one.
"If anyone is excommunicated it is not I, but the excommunicators." - Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
" A false church cannot have a true mission." - St. Francis De Sales
" The way is open for us to deprive councils of their authority, contradict their acts freely, and profess confidently, whatever SEEMS to be true. " - Martin Luther

Why would they be re ordained? Retrained, sure. If themauestion is validity, don't dogmatic sedes consider SSPX bishops invalid? I know Hutton Gibson and Father Cekada did.

The Priests were re-ordained because they have a doubt as to the validity of either their ordination because of a defect in the new rite of orders or of the new rite of the Consecration of bishops.
Fr. C. Was ordained by Msgr. Lefebvre, so he definitely holds to the validity of Msgr's ordinations.
I don't know of any dogmatic sedes who hold this position.
As far as I know, Mr. Gibson holds that the only licit ordinations are those performed by bishops consecrated under the old rite who had regular faculties to do so.

Thanks. I forgot about Fr. Cekadas ordination. But how do we know Hutton isn't right?

They probably were not re-ordained, but conditionally ordained.

Hutton and a man from Texas named Gary Giuffre, who I believes holds the same position.

Who know?

I thought Fr Gommar de Pauw and the New York chapel he founded hold that position, but I might be wrong.
Padre Pio: Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.
