WHERE do you pray?

 Perhaps not the most asked question on prayer, but a practical one nonetheless.  WHERE do you pray, meditate, do sacred reading, etc?

 Most often I end up sitting on the couch, enjoying the morning sunshine and dodging cats trying to sit on my lap.  The bedroom is out of the question since the wife is still snoozing.

We pray in living room and at kitchen table(Sorrowful Mysteries right before supper). Sometimes front porch if weather is agreeable.

Living room or bedroom, generally.
The royal feast was done; the King
Sought some new sport to banish care,

Kneel now, and make for us a prayer!"

The majority of my prayer time is in my parish church.

I pray at home as well.

In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

I have a mini altar in my living room and we say the rosary most evenings in front while sitting or kneeling on or at the couch.  I don't sweat the sitting or kneeling for kids even though I prefer if they do.  I don't want kids remembering family rosary time with resentment and shouting.

More often in the car or while walking now. A lot of drives and walks with the little one. Good way to knock the daily rosary out and other prayers.

At home, I kneel facing east in my living room, in front of a small table on which I put a book stand with my prayer book.

Morning prayers after getting up and dressed:In my Bedroom.
After breakfast: Rosary, while walking to work.
Evening before Supper: Family Rosary; Living Room.
Night before bedtime: Bedroom.

Is this a Diocesan TLM or "other" Chapel?

Bedroom or living room. I want to get the closet in the home office cleared out and make that a dedicated space w/ a prie-dieu, etc.

It's St Martin of Tours in Louisville Ky. Last year the archbishop designated it as a diocese shrine. So now the pastor, assistant pastor and the two remaining pastors that are still alive are canons of St Martin's. And the pastor is now rector of St Martin's.

The Holy Face image at the shrine is one of the authentic ones. Also the full skeleton remains of Sts.  Magnus and Bonosa are there in glass reliquaries under two of the four side altars. Pope Leo XIII sent them per the request of the pastor.

Most all the statues there are lifesize.

TLM at noon Sunday and usually at 7pm on Holy Days. The Sunday NO is prayed on the high altar. The table altar is in wheels ad is pushed over in front of a side altar.

Open 24/7 with a Perpetual Adoration chapel. First Friday mass at 7pm and First Saturday mass at midnight. Those masses are NO.

Communion rail is used at all masses.

The archbishop is TLM friendly but the first time he prayed the mass there he was caught off guard by the use of the Communion rail. Our rector, still pastor at the time, had to steer the archbishop to the rail lol.
