Title: An SD Rosary crusade to end abortion worldwide?
Post by: Xavier on July 10, 2018, 06:25:14 AM
Dear friends, when Catholics in Ireland were recently fighting for life as if for very life itself, many of us felt the need to give them much greater prayer support to overcome the obstacles. But it seemed too little too late in the end, and pro-abortion forces defeated Christians and pro-lifers in battle. Elsewhere, like in America, we have seen the tide continually turn, albeit slowly, as millions of people pray.  Do you think something like a continuous, year-round Rosary Crusade - modeled after SSPX Rosary crusades See Link (https://sspx.org/en/news-events/news/results-2016-2017-rosary-crusade-have-been-compiled-35112) - would be good for us to organize here on SD, with the specific intention that abortion should be outlawed everywhere and end worldwide? I spoke to Kaesekopf and he's cool with this idea.

We all know how many great graces come through the Holy Rosary, how wonderful are the 15 promises Mary gave through the Rosary, how by it the Albigensian heresy was defeated; how when Europe prayed the Rosary, the invading Turks were defeated on the sea, and Pope St. Pius V was given a vision of it in the Vatican gardens. How the Popes say, "Give me an army praying the Rosary, and I will conquer the world." How Our Lady of Fatima called Herself the Lady of the Rosary, and saintly Sr. Lucia said our Mother Mary has given special efficacy to the Rosary in these times, and there is no problem however great it may be, that cannot be solved by this means. How St. Padre Pio called the Rosary the weapon, said it dozens of times daily, and died a great Saint. How so many countries were delivered from Communist tyranny (and legal abortion too is one error of Russia our Lady spoke of, as the USSR was one of the first to legalize abortion in 1920) just because its citizens united in faith and love to persevere in praying the Rosary. Can we not overcome secularist dictatorships and their pro-abortion on demand agenda in the same way as our brother and sister Christians overcame Communism in their countries?

If 10 people agree, we will go ahead with it. The Plan will be simple. We can start a thread in the prayer subforum, and each member in their spare time can donate or contribute as many as they can. Members can either post, like "Prayed 3 Rosaries to end abortion today" or "prayed 10 Rosaries for this intention last week" etc. If anyone wishes to send by PM, they can send it to me, or to Kaese. July 9th or 10th, 2018 may mark the appointment of a justice who could help end abortion in America. On the 9th or 10th of every month, we will compile and report the tallies for every month. We can also say a private novena based on that month's special devotion e.g. to the Holy Spirit in April, to Mother Mary in Mary, to the Sacred Heart in June, to the Precious Blood in July etc before that if we wish. There are many elections coming up around the world, one in Canada for e.g. next year that I'm aware of, where pro-life Catholic and Father of 5 children Andrew Scheer will be competing for Prime Minister. http://catholicherald.co.uk/news/2017/05/30/profile-pro-life-catholic-andrew-scheer-elected-canadian-conservative-leader/ Every month or every year people can post updates of elections they're aware of or that are happening in and around their country, or anywhere in the world.

This will be not be a short skirmish but a long, hard war fought to the very end, when Mary will definitively triumph over abortion. 5 or even 2 years ago, nobody would have thought the tide would turn against abortion in the U.S. Who is to say it will not turn in North America, South America (which is relatively strong against abortion, but now also collapsing to the secularist agenda, e.g. Argentina recently) Europe and elsewhere in the next 2 to 5 years and beyond? If even 10 members agreed to start as Rosary Crusaders by saying just 1 extra Rosary a day for this intention, we would have 300 in a month, 3650 in a year, and more than 10,000 in 3 years. Imagine if a 100 volunteered, or a 1000. And more people joined as the days went by. Or if many agreed to pray more than 1, say 3. Or to pray even more in our spare time, say, if we have a few hours free on a Saturday or Sunday. Finally, it can be done at our own pace, if we have busy days. Let us aim to have millions of Rosaries offered up in the next 12-15 years for abortion ending everywhere, billions of lives and potentially souls saved, and the end of this abortion genocidal holocaust.

2033 is the 2000th anniversary of our Redemption, which was on Nisan 14th, or April 3rd, 33 A.D. Would it not be a great gift to Our Lord if we can end abortion worldwide by then? Let us never doubt the power of prayer and especially of the Rosary to efficaciously obtain all things we pray for, that are according to the will of God. And this is obviously very dear to His Heart. What do you all say, folks?

Quote1. Whosoever shall faithfully serve Me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

2. I promise My special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.

4. It will cause good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for Eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means!

5. The soul which recommends itself to Me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.

6. Whosoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of Eternal Life.

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the Light of God and the plenitude of His Graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the Merits of the Saints in Paradise.

9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of Glory in Heaven.

11. You shall obtain all you ask of Me by recitation of the Rosary.

12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by Me in their necessities.

13. I have obtained from My Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.

14. All who recite the Rosary are My Sons, and brothers of My Only Son Jesus Christ.

15. Devotion to My Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Wonderful, dear brothers and sisters. We will begin in a few days, then; all are welcome to join. Even if it is a single Rosary a month that we have to offer, the children we save and their Angel guardians will love us forever and pray for us always. God also takes all we do for others in love as done to Himself, so the Infant Jesus will love and bless us every time we seek to protect unborn children. Fr. Suarez said he would exchange all his learning for the merit of a single Hail Mary. Many Saints have said they would be willing to suffer great torments for a long time if permitted to return to earth in exchange for it. Let's make the best of the time we have.

We'll start a thread in the prayer subforum in a few days. That thread will be only for prayer. We can use this thread for any updates or any country that specifically and most urgently requires our prayers next. Please feel free to share or post any testimonials about the Rosary in this thread in the meanwhile.

QuoteWhy The Daily Rosary?

Our Lady has 117 titles. She selected this title at Fatima: "I am the Lady of the Rosary".

St. Francis de Sales said the greatest method of praying is: "Pray the Rosary"

St. Thomas Aquinas preached 40 straight days in Rome, Italy on just the Hail Mary.

St. John Vianney, patron of priests, was seldom seen without a rosary in his hand.

"The rosary is the scourge of the devil" - Pope Adrian VI.

"The rosary is a treasure of graces" - Pope Paul V.

Padre Pio the stigmatic priest said:  "The rosary is THE WEAPON"

Pope Leo XIII wrote 9 encyclicals on the rosary.

Pope John XXIII spoke 38 times about our Lady and the Rosary.  He prayed 15 decades daily.

St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort wrote: "The rosary is the most powerful weapon to touch the Heart of Jesus, Our Redeemer, who so loves His Mother."

If you wish to obtain a favor: Pray THE "54-day ROSARY NOVENA"...
- Pray 3 nine day rosary novenas - 27 days of petition;
- Pray 3 nine day rosary novenas - 27 days of thanksgiving.

Will you give 1% of 1440 minutes each day to God?
If so, pray the daily rosary in 15 minutes - 1% of 24 hours.

Later on, give 3% and pray entire 15 decade rosary.
Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries.

A testimonial to the power of the Mother of God and Her Rosary from the life of St. Dominic: http://www.motherofallpeoples.com/2011/05/the-power-of-the-rosary-ii/

"Oh most worthy Mother of Wisdom, I am praying for the people assembled here who have already learned how to say the Angelic Salutation properly. Please, I beg of you, force your enemies to proclaim the whole truth and nothing but the truth about this, here and now, before the multitude.

St. Dominic had hardly finished this prayer when he saw the Blessed Virgin near at hand, surrounded by a multitude of angels. She struck the possessed man with a golden rod that she held and said: "Answer my servant Dominic at once." (Remember, the people neither saw nor heard Our Lady, but only St. Dominic.) Then the devils started screaming:

Oh you who are our enemy, our downfall and our destruction, why have you come from heaven just to torture us so grievously? O Advocate of sinners, you who snatch them from the very jaws of hell, you who are the very sure path to heaven, must we, in spite of ourselves, tell the whole truth and confess before everyone who it is who is the cause of our shame and our ruin? Oh woe unto us, princes of darkness:

Then listen well, you Christians: the Mother of Jesus Christ is all-powerful and she can save her servants from falling into hell. She is the Sun which destroys the darkness of our wiles and subtlety. It is she who uncovers our hidden plots, breaks our snares and makes our temptations useless and ineffectual.

We have to say, however reluctantly, that not a single soul who has really persevered in her service has ever been damned with us: one single sigh that she offers to the Blessed Trinity is worth far more than all the prayers, desires and aspirations of all the saints.

We fear her more than all the other saints in heaven together and we have no success with her faithful servants. Many Christians who call upon her when they are at the hour of death and who really ought to be damned according to our ordinary standards are saved by her intercession.

Oh if only that Mary (it is thus in their fury that they called her) had not pitted her strength against ours and had not upset our plans, we should have conquered the Church and should have destroyed it long before this; and we would have seen to it that all the Orders in the Church fell into error and disorder.

Now that we are forced to speak we must also tell you this: nobody who perseveres in saying the Rosary will be damned, because she obtains for her servants the grace of true contrition for their sins and by means of this they obtain God's forgiveness and mercy.

Then St. Dominic had them all say the Rosary very slowly and with great devotion, and a wonderful thing happened: at each Hail Mary that he and the people said together a large group of devils issued forth from the wretched man's body under the guise of red-hot coals.

When the devils had all been expelled and the heretic was at last entirely free of them, Our Lady (who was still invisible) gave her blessing to the assembled company, and they were filled with joy because of this.

A large number of heretics were converted because of this miracle and joined the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary."

Wonderful, Carmina, welcome to the forum, and God bless you and your husband. Some more testimonials about the Rosary below. Please everyone feel free to post their own. Source (http://heroicfamilies.com/2018/02/09/rosary-quotes-that-will-knock-your-socks-off/)

Quote"If I had an army to say the Rosary, I could conquer the world." -Blessed Pope Piux IX
"The Rosary is the 'weapon' for these times." -Saint Padre Pio
"Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother." -St. Padre Pio
"The greatest method of praying is to pray the Rosary." – Saint Francis de Sales
"Go to the Madonna. Love her! Always say the Rosary. Say it well. Say it as often as you can! Be souls of prayer. Never tire of praying, it is what is essential. Prayer shakes the Heart of God, it obtains necessary graces!" -St. Padre Pio
"The holy Rosary is a powerful weapon. Use it with confidence and you'll be amazed at the results." -St. Josemaria Escriva
"Say the Holy Rosary. Blessed be that monotony of Hail Mary's which purifies the monotony of your sins!" -St. Josemaria Escriva
"The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin...If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors." – Pope Pius XI
"The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description." – Archbishop Fulton Sheen
"The Rosary is the most excellent form of prayer and the most efficacious means of attaining eternal life. It is the remedy for all our evils, the root of all our blessings. There is no more excellent way of praying." – Pope Leo XIII
"No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary: either they will give up sin or they will give up the Rosary" – Bishop Hugh Doyle
"The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families...that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary." -Sister Lucia dos Santos of Fatima
"Here is an example to help you understand the efficacy of the Rosary. You remember the story of David who vanquished Goliath. What steps did the young Israelite take to overthrow the giant? He struck him in the middle of the forehead with a pebble from his sling. If we regard the Philistine as representing evil and all its powers: heresy, impurity, pride, we can consider the little stones from the sling capable of overthrowing the enemy as symbolizing the Aves of the Rosary.
The ways of God are entirely different from our ways. To us it seems necessary to employ powerful means in order to produce great effects. This is not God's method; quite the contrary. He likes to choose the weakest instruments that He may confound the strong: "God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong — Infirma mundi elegit ut confundat fortia" (1 Cor 1:27).
Have you not often met poor old women who are most faithful to the pious recitation of the Rosary? You also must do all that you can to recite it with fervour. Get right down, at the feet of Jesus: it is a good thing to make oneself small in the presence of so great a God." -Dom Columba Marmion, Christ, the Ideal of the Priest
"Whoever spreads the Rosary is Saved." -Blessed Bartolo Longo
"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory. For even if you are now on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil...sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and save your soul. If–you say the Rosary devoutly every day of your life." -St. Louis De Montfort
"The Rosary is my favorite prayer." -St. Pope John Paul II
"When the Holy Rosary is said well, it gives Jesus and Mary more glory and is more meritorious than any other prayer." -Saint Louis de Montfort
"The Holy Rosary is the storehouse of countless blessing." -Blessed Alan de la Roche
"One day, through the Rosary and the Scapular, Our Lady will save the world." -Saint Dominic
"Never will anyone who says his Rosary every day be led astray. This is a statement that I would gladly sign with my blood." -Saint Louis de Montfort
"The Rosary is the most beautiful and the most rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God...and if you wish peace to reign in your homes, recite the family Rosary." -Pope Saint Pius X
"When you say your Rosary, the angels rejoice, the Blessed Trinity delights in it, my Son finds joy in it too, and I myself am happier than you can possibly guess. After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, there is nothing in the Church that I love as much as the Rosary."-Our Lady to Blessed Alan de la Roche
"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee!' No creature has ever said anything that was more pleasing to me, nor will anyone ever be able to find or say to me anything that pleases me more." -Our Lady to Saint Mechtilde
"One day, St. Dominic prayed to Our Lady that she would force the devils who possessed a man to reveal the truth about devotion to her. The devils were forced by Our Lady to reveal: Listen to what the devils said, 'Now that we are forced to speak we must also tell you this: Nobody who perseveres in saying the Rosary will be damned, because she obtains for her servants the grace of true contrition for their sins and by means of this they obtain God's forgiveness and mercy.'"
"Making the rosary a family prayer is very pleasing to me. I ask that all families strive to do so.  But be careful to say the Rosary with great devotion, meditating on each mystery and striving to imitate in your daily lives the virtues depicted. Live the mysteries of the rosary as I lived them, and it will become a chain binding you to me forever.  They who are found in the circle of my rosary will never be lost.  I myself will lead them at death to the throne of my Son, to be eternally united to Him." -Our Lady of America
"Pray very much the prayers of the rosary. I alone am able to save you from the calamities." -Mary in Akita, Japan

"It was not courage, not arms, not leaders, but Mary of the Rosary that made us victors." -Venetian Senators after Battle of Lepanto
"How beautiful is the family that recites the Rosary every evening!" -St. John Paul II
"The Rosary is a prayer both so humble and simple and a theologically rich in Biblical content. I beg you to pray it." -St. John Paul II
"If you wish to convert anyone to the fullness of the knowledge of Our Lord and of His Mystical Body, then teach him the Rosary. One of two things will happen. Either he will stop saying the Rosary — or he will get the gift of faith." -Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen
"The Rosary is the Bible on a String." -Fr. Ronan Murphy
"My impression is that the Rosary is of the greatest value not only according to the words of Our Lady of Fatima, but according to the effects of the Rosary one sees throughout history. My impression is that Our Lady wanted to give ordinary people, who might not know how to pray, this simple method of getting closer to God." -Sister Lucia, one of the seers of Fatima
For Christians, the first of books is the Gospel and the Rosary is actually the abridgment of the Gospel." -Jean-Baptiste Henri Lacordaire

"You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary." -Our Lady to Blessed Alan de la Roche
"The rosary is the scourge of the devil." -Pope Adrian VI
"We put great confidence in the Holy Rosary for the healing of evils which afflict our times." -Pope Pius XII
"The Rosary is a school for learning true Christian perfection." -Pope John XXIII
"Those who say the Rosary frequently and fervently will gradually grow in grace and holiness and will enjoy the special protection of Our Lady and the abiding friendship of God." -Bishop Hugh Boyle
"The Family that prays together, stays together." -Father Patrick Peyton
"If families give Our Lady fifteen minutes a day by reciting the Rosary, I assure them that their homes will become, by God's grace, peaceful places." -Father Patrick Peyton
"If our age in its pride laughs at and rejects Our Lady's Rosary, a countless legion of the most saintly men of every age and of every condition have not only held it most dear and have most piously recited it but have also used it at all times as a most powerful weapon to overcome the devil, to preserve the purity of their lives, to acquire virtue more zealously, in a word, to promote peace among men." -Pope Pius XI

Dearest Xavier, I just returned from my first meeting of the Third Order of St Dominic.  More on that another time/another thread - suffice it to say, Our Lord graciously brought me to where I precisely need to be.  It's a perfect match!    :cheeseheadbeer:
QuoteMy soul doth magnify the Lord. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. [

Before we began the Holy Rosary, each person offered their intention(s). Be assured that I will share the intention of this thread.

Thank you, dear friend of Christ.

Wonderful to hear, PerEvangelicaDicta. You will be great in the Dominican Third Order and they are blessed to have you.  :cheeseheadbeer:

Dear friends, we have crossed 300 Rosaries, major feasts in upcoming days. The Blessed Birth of our Immaculate Mother on Sept. 8th. The Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows on Sept. The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and the anniversary of Her miracle at Fatima next month.

Let us aim to have a bouquet of flowers of Her roses from the Rosary every month to offer at Her feet for Her triumph over abortion. God will be more inclined to show Mercy to the world and release an abundance of fresh new grace once this industry of sin has been closed.

Please everyone remember what St. Montfort said about the power of united and public prayer, even if you are able to donate a single Rosary per month, it will be to your great advantage and eternal merit that you do. All who wish to contribute anonymously can PM me.

Our plan is 200+ Rosaries a month going forward. And we will get there and move on to greater heights.

And we don't intend to stop for years to come, or until abortion is defeated. Fight with us. Let's fight together. God bless you all.

From: http://www.catholictradition.org/Mary/hail-mary.htm

Quote"The Efficacy and Power of One Hail Mary

HAIL, MARY, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

HOLY MARY, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Millions of Catholics often say the Hail Mary. Some repeat it hastily not even thinking on the words they are saying. These following words may help some say it more thoughtfully.

They can give God's Mother great joy and obtain for themselves graces that she wishes to give them.

One Hail Mary well said fills the heart of Our Lady with delight and obtains for us indescribably great  graces. One Hail Mary well said gives us more graces than a thousand thoughtlessly said.

The Hail Mary is like a mine of gold that we can always take from but never exhaust.
Is it hard to say the Hail Mary well? All we have to do is to know its value and understand its meaning.

St. Jerome tells us that "the truths contained in the Hail Mary are so sublime, so wonderful that no man or Angel could fully understand them."

St. Thomas Aquinas, the Prince of Theologians, "the wisest of Saints and holiest of wise men," as Leo XIII called him, preached for 40 days in Rome on the Hail Mary, filling his hearers with rapture.

Father F. Suarez, the holy and learned Jesuit, declared when dying that he would willingly give all the many learned books he wrote, all his life's labors, for the merit of one Hail Mary prayerfully and devoutly said.

St. Mechtilde, who loved our Lady very much, was one day striving to compose a beautiful prayer in her honor. Our Lady appeared to her, with the golden letters on her breast of: "Hail Mary full of grace." She said to her: "Desist, dear child, from your labor for no prayer you could possibly compose would give me the joy and delight of the Hall Mary."

A certain man found joy in saying slowly the Hail Mary. The Blessed Virgin in return appeared to him smiling and announced to him the day and hour that he should die, granting him a most holy and happy death.

After death a beautiful white lily grew from his mouth having written on its petals: "Hail Mary."

Cesarius recounts a similar incident. A humble and holy monk lived in the monastery. His poor mind and memory were so weak that he could only repeat one prayer which was the "Hail Mary." After death a tree grew over his grave and on all its leaves was written: "Hail Mary."

These beautiful legends show us how much devotion to Our Lady was valued, and the power attributed to the Hail Mary devoutly prayed.

Each time that we say the Hail Mary we are repeating the very same words with which St. Gabriel the Archangel saluted Mary on the day of the Annunciation, when she was made Mother of the Son of God.

Many graces and joys filled the soul of Mary at that moment.

Now when we say the Hail Mary we offer anew all these graces and joys to Our Lady and she accepts them with Immense delight.

In return she gives us a share in these joys.

Once Our Lord asked St. Francis Assisi to give Him something. The Saint replied: "Dear Lord, I can give You nothing for I have already given you all, all my love."

Jesus smiled and said: "Francis, give Me it all again and again, it will give Me the same pleasure."

So with our dearest Mother, she accepts from us each time we say the Hail Mary the joys and delight she received from the words of St. Gabriel.

Almighty God gave His Blessed Mother all the dignity, greatness and holiness necessary to make her His own most perfect Mother.

But He also gave her all the sweetness, love, tenderness and affection necessary to make her our most loving Mother. Mary is truly and really our Mother.

As children when in trouble run to their mothers for help, so ought we to run at once with unbounded confidence to Mary.

St. Bernard and many Saints said that it was never, never heard at any time or in any place that Mary refused to hear the prayers of her children on earth.

Why do we not realize this most consoling truth? Why refuse the love and consolation that God's Sweet Mother is offering us?

Is it our lamentable ignorance which deprives us of such help and consolation.

To love and trust Mary is to be happy on earth now and afterwards to be happy in Heaven.

Dr. Hugh Lammer was a staunch Protestant, with strong prejudices against the Catholic Church.

One day he found an explanation of the Hail Mary and read it. He was so charmed with it that he began to say it daily. Insensibly all his anti-Catholic animosity began to disappear. He became a Catholic, a holy priest and a professor of Catholic Theology in Breslau.

A priest was called to the bedside of a man who was dying in despair because of his sins.
Yet he refused obstinately to go to confession. As a last recourse the priest asked him to say at least the Hail Mary after which the poor man made a sincere confession and died a holy death.

In England, a parish priest was asked to go and see a Protestant lady who was gravely ill, and who wished to become a Catholic.

Asked if she had ever gone to a Catholic Church, or, if she had spoken to Catholics, or if she had read Catholic books? She replied, "No, no."

All she could remember was that------when a child------she had learned from a little Catholic neighbor girl the Hail Mary, which she said every night. She was Baptized and before dying had the happiness of seeing her husband and children Baptized.

St. Gertrude tells us in her book, "Revelations" that when we thank God for the graces He has given to any Saint, we get a great share of those particular graces.

What graces, then, do we not receive when we say the Hail Mary while thanking God for all the unspeakable graces He has given His Blessed Mother?

------With Ecclesiastical Approval

". . . One Ave Maria [Hail Mary] said without sensible fervor, but with a pure will in a time of aridity, has much more value in my sight than an entire Rosary recited in the midst of consolations."

--------The Blessed Mother to Sr: Benigna Consolata Ferrero

"The holy and learned Jesuit, Father Suarez, was so deeply aware of the value of the Angelic Salutation [Hail Mary] that he said that he would gladly give all his learning for the price of one Hail Mary that had been said properly."

--------St. Louis De Montfort, The Secret of the Rosary, p. 48"
