I don't know if this belongs in Natural Science or here since this phenomena's application is used in tech. Here it is for digesting. I love this.

Seems a little counterintuitive at first, but it's really not much of a paradox once you think about it. Obviously if the travel time depends on traffic, and if everyone is incentivized to take the same road, it's going to slow things down for everyone.
