Considering that the Roman Catholic Church is getting closer to rock bottom at its crisis, and my own current opinions and contributions are infuriating people, I'm going to take a short break from this forum until we see what happens in regards to the Deaconess and the Married Priest question.

Pray for me as always, if you can find it in your heart to do so.

You have my prayers, TRL.
God be with you.
Blessed are those who plant trees under whose shade they will never sit.

The closer you get to life the better death will be; the closer you get to death the better life will be.

TRL,
this is a good idea. My prayers also.
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers

Have a good break. To add, you ain't infuriat'n anyone. As you said, we're all confused.

Yes, of course, I always will. God bless you, Live.
Bible verses on walking blamelessly with God, after being forgiven from our former sins. Some verses here: https://dailyverses.net/blameless

"[2] He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:[3] He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.(Psalm 14)

"[2] For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man."(James 3)

"[14] And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations; [15] That you may be blameless, and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world." (Phil 2:14-15)

Of course (looking forward to TheReturn... etc. when it is the right time all around)
[Matthew 8:26]  And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm.

[Job  38:1-5]  Then the Lord answered Job out of a whirlwind, and said: [2] Who is this that wrappeth up sentences in unskillful words? [3] Gird up thy loins like a man: I will ask thee, and answer thou me. [4] Where wast thou when I laid up the foundations of the earth? tell me if thou hast understanding. [5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Jesus, Mary, I love Thee! Save souls!

I will say that for many of us, The Crisis can be a downer, threatening to discourage us, even to the point of despair.  At the very least, it tests the faith of all practicing Catholics, and, when we are too engulfed in the crisis, it can bring us down spiritually.  Trad priests recommend not spending too much time investigating and thinking about all of the awful stuff happening in the Church's highest ranks, lest we lose heart.

So the point is that taking a break from the reality of Roman apostasy can be a good idea for everyone, so as not to distort our perspective and play directly into the devil's hands.

Tales

Faith was strained on the stormy seas.  Strained again as God died on the cross.  Strained further as He did not come back on the time scale expected.  Arians, Zosimus, Honorious, Saeculum obscurum, Medici popes, Great Schism & Protestant Revolt, the list goes on.

And now we have Fran Fran & his apostate / heretical bishops.  Rather than despair or lose your Faith through analysis paralysis, why not instead laugh at the demons that have a grip on these men?  Pray for the souls of those men but laugh in the face of the demons whom have deceived them.  Get angry about it, despair over it, doubt it all are a victory for the demons.  Laughing at them and seeing them for the joke that they are wounds their pride greatly while keeping ourselves detached from the destruction they have laid.

Prayerful

Hopefully soon we'll no longer have a Pope who makes Martin Luther seem a paragon of holy orthodoxy, and so my prayers for you. Pray for me.
Padre Pio: Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.
