I despise bad writing, including in scripts, and I suspect that even Ralph Fiennes can't save that.

In an actors career span. They will have good points, bad points, and points they will want to put behind themselves. I think in the future, Ralph Fiennes, will most probably be a bad point he would rather put behind himself.

No. It is a scandalous movie about a "transgender" pope (actually woman, but everyone thinks it's a man). It goes without saying you should avoid it like the plague. The whole point of it is to scandalize Catholics, because Catholics neither own all the media and all the banks, nor do we blow up when upset, like members of some other religions, so we're free game. If you really must see it because you're so curious, at least do not pay for a ticket, find it online somewhere. But better don't.
