Friday night I watched the Evil Dead remake: disgusting bloody lame
Saturday I watched the Princess Bride(for the 5th time or so) with my Girlfriend: Which I think is Entertaining but, forgettable. I'll never get the hub bub over that one.

Edit to add: What is with horror movies having to be full of gore? I just want a good ghost story >:(

"Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of Anti-Christ"-Our Lady of La Sallette

The Conjuring. It was really good. Reminds me that we need more exorcists.

Did it have any Catholic undertones? I have wanted to see it, but with The Last Exorcist being about Evangelicals I am leery.

Just watched the ken burns doc on prohibition...netflix...outstanding! Excellent stuff about Al Smith...and puts the blame square on the protty ethic...and anti catholic bigotry. Prohibition caused many of the sociotal and legal problems were suffering even today.

Watched this earlier this year myself. V-good.

Finally got around to watching Trollhunter.  It was decent - certainly better than I expected given the name.  Even if it was inadvertant, it was interesting how they worked the indellible baptismal character into the movie!

It's on Netflix.

Son, when thou comest to the service of God, stand in justice and in fear, and prepare thy soul for temptation.

Troll Hunter is pretty awesome.  It's a campy movie, but surprisingly entertaining.
IF I speak with the tongues of men, and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Anybody seen The Grandmaster?

Pretty amazing scenery in it too.  Norway moved way up on my list of places I'd like to visit (but probably never will!).

World War Z

Don't bother, this a shameless propaganda piece for the UN and the W.H.O. Both of whom are very evil. All this is wrapped in a very dull movie which has no connection to the book
