St. Mary Star of the Sea, procession, Latin Mass, afterward reception. 7:00pm. Our most devoted pastor is geeked and ready to go. This is going to be to the 9's. All the toots and whistles, scents, bells and sprinkles! We have not missed one holy day celebration due to this wonderful priest. Yes, they do exist within the diocese. He gave up life as a cardiologist to serve the Church, but little did he know it was to serve in this capacity. After Mass, his feet barely touch the floor and his face radiant. I can't fathom the conflict he deals with within, when in service to his NO parishoners. I hope that is not prideful to say; he certainly hears a lot of the same sins confessed by trad, and NO alike. His conflict is about liturgy and their stubbornness to go back to the tradition of the church, which he is very much attached to. We'll see what side of the fence he takes when schism is an obvious condition, even to the NOers. We pray.
To board the struggle bus: no whining, board with a smile, a fake one will be found out and put off at next stop, no maps, no directions, going only one way, one destination. Follow all rules and you will arrive. Drop off at pearly gate. Bring nothing.
