To renew or not to renew....

As far as this Forum and Catholic Forums in general, there has been a shift.  In the past during The Great Trad War, the high priority enemy was within, the neo-Catholic.  Forums were a perfect venue because they are convenient to hold debates and to post links to authoritative Church documents.  This war has been decisively won by the Trads, and the church of the New Order will go bankrupt during The Great Boomer Die Off.  There's nothing more to do except declare victory and move on, rarely stepping in and quashing some frantic last ditch attempt by a neo-Catholic.  And so the volume of posting on "Church News" has dropped off noticeably.

I could stop here, and point out that even though we have driven the Neo-Catholic before us, and hear the lamentations of their women, there are still millions of poor Catholics trapped in the church of the New Order.  Every Sunday dragging themselves to the spectacle of some sodomite priest putting on his personal Cirque du Novus Ordo, where he prances about the stage.  A lot of them eventually stop going.  Having forums available for them to show up, learn about Tradition, and ask questions saves souls.

But there is more.  Focus has now shifted to the enemy without -- the rise of The Great Harlot of Babylon Talmud.  And so you would expect to see more postings in General News sections, pointing out news stories OF INTEREST TO TRADITIONAL CATHOLICS, usually pointing out the rise of the terror state and persecutions.  The Great COVID Hoax is one such example, which was used to SHUT DOWN CHURCHES and deprive Catholics of the sacraments.

My personal approach has been to post something in the different sub forums.  I try to post something funny in The Coffee Pot, which could give someone a reason just to check in and have a laugh.  I find it easier to post Sacred Science than Church News, because inevitably it will be another story about some heresy emenating from the insignificant gay rights organization called The Vatican, which is only noticed by the secular public when they use it as a punch line in a pedo joke.

We also have to keep in mind our brother Catholics trapped behind the Iron Curtain in Canada, the UK, and Europe, who kind of have a one stop "Zero Hedge" of Tradition where they can get real news.  I have found myself posting more stories on Euro/UK news and Canada news than I did in the past.

So this forum serves a purpose.  And as Gen Z become adult more-and-more, I expect a new audience to show up.

I think that most of us enjoy this place; and even those who voted against it, would change their votes if one or two things that bother them about it could be changed.
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers
