Last movie I saw was the Shaun the Sheep movie. We all loved it, and I'm pretty sure all the adults in the theater were laughing as loud as the kids.

we had that on the pen drive for awhile not long ago. my toddler loved it; i apreciated the way that not using any actual spoken words made the characters communicate in ways a toddler could understand. kinda cool.

i still remember shaun the sheep from when he was on wallace and grommit lol...

John Wick. i thought it was awesome. the missus wasn't overly impressed. she kept complaining about how all these people were dying over a dog and a car. but from there herself and myself got into a discussion about the way Wick was portrayed in the film and how certain scenes or events were shot that were probably done that way by the filmmakers to give him hero appeal to us the audience, while others were done to help us feel no empathy for the bad guys. like how when Wick pistol whips a female assassin, we see him swing the pistol then it cuts away to black and makes the sound of contact but we never visually actually see him strike a woman with a pistol because it would make him seem like a douchebag to us.

yeah psychoanalysing movies is kinda fun.

my brother in law loaned us that on dvd. i thought it was a good film. the missus made it about 20 minutes in before she stopped watching.

fun fact; that Padre still drinks because he's "in NA not AA" but NA don't let you drink either.

anybody ever seen that Czech film where they steal a Leonardo da Vinci painting? i think it was just called "Vinci". i saw it years ago on the Rialto channel at someone's house, wouldn't mind watching that one again.
