QuoteIn your brother's defence, he is observing the proper order of priorities (unless the tutorial involves the Mutant Ninja Turtles, such as how best to navigate the Technodrome level in the 3rd game).

Thanks mate. Suscipe takes priority of course.  8)

My Mom never let me watch Ninja Mutant Turtles because after a couple of episodes I starting kicking the crap out of my much younger brother....a trend that continues to this day, turtles or not  8)

How many days ago was this Laus?

Hahaha..my brother and I are both in our 20s and we still come really close to fisticuffs at family dinners. 99.999% of the time it is hockey related.
I bet Christmas must be fun.  ;)

"The Prince"

Absolute crap.

It's Bruce Willis starring, right? I don't know how anyone could expect anything good. :)
----
I saw "Rumors of Wars". It was a very protestant-esque look at the end times. No rapture (proper) but they could remove the RFID chip/mark and it could be given involuntarily.

Director bro, do you even Bible?
Jason Patric was actually the protagonist.

Willis had only about 20mins of screen time.

Willis has done good television at least.
But right, not quality films.

you should really check out the first three die hard films sometime. they were brilliant.

last movie i watched was called knights of badassdom. it was funny as.
The Die Hard films are filled with the breaking of the 3rd Commandment over and over again as well as the first one showing topless women at least 3 times.

Garbage.

Don't know about marijuana, but weed (cannabis if you don't use that term outside of the UK?) can trigger severe mental health problems including schizophrenia, even in later life.

no it doesn't. that theory has been completely disproved. marijuana is cannabis btw. medical marijuana has been shown to be highly effective in regenerative treatment for brain damage as well as highly effective in the treatment of some mental disorders.

can we smoke the marijuana? does the church allow that? i wonder if the puritans around here would let us keep that in our rooms since alcohol is out.

The Church allows the responsible use of all things in moderation.  Not irresponsible, abusive, misuse, and excess.

The same goes with alcohol.  The same goes with marijuana.

The same could not be said of cocaine, because cocaine has been processed into a superconcentrated from it's natural state as a coca leaf.  But the Church isn't against the moderate use of the natural coca leaves, as many indigenous tribes in South America chew them to get a sort of caffeine effect.

I'm all for under age drinking at home. Builds proper respect for alcohol and the virtue of temperance.
