I don't recall where I read or heard it, but someone I think once made a relation between the Flood length (40 days and nights) and a 40 week pregnancy (which is the average length of carrying to term or something).

I thought that was interesting.

There is a funny, sarcastic comment here to be made, I am just too tired to figure it out.

Yes, a full-term pregnancy is counted as 40 weeks (even though women don't actually get pregnant until about the third week of that term), but many women deliver either earlier or later than that 40 week mark.
