The genocide of the German People after WW2

The book Gruesome Harvest

Quote"Since the end of the war about 3,000,000 people, mostly
women and children and overaged men, have been killed in
eastern Germany and south-eastern Europe; about
15,000,000 people have been deported or had to flee from
their homesteads and are on the road. About 25 per cent of
these people, over 3,000,000, have perished. About
4,000,000 men and women have been deported to eastern
Europe and Russia as slaves ... It seems that the elimination
of the German population of eastern Europe - at least
15,000,000 people - was planned in accordance with
decisions made at Yalta. Churchill had said to Mikolajczyk
when the latter protested during the negotiations at
Moscow against forcing Poland to incorporate eastern
Germany:
'Don't mind the five or more million Germans. Stalin will
see to them.
You will have not trouble with them: they will cease to
exist.'" ...
The refugee train was like a macabre Noah's ark. Every car
was jammed with Germans ... The families carry all their
earthly belongings in sacks, bags, and tin trunks ... Nursing
infants suffer the most, as their mothers are unable to feed
them, and frequently go insane as they watch their offspring
slowly die before their eyes. ... 'Many women try to carry off their dead babies with them,'
a Russian railway official said. 'We search the bundles
whenever we discover a weeping woman, to make sure she
is not carrying an infant corpse with her.'"
"But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Jn 3:18)."

I remember reading that the overall death toll from WWII was around 20 million. That's just mind boggling.
My Lord and my God.

Probably double.  The Soviets lost 20 million.  Germany and Japan lost a large amount.

If you throw in China, you might be looking at 60 million.

The Curt Jester

I've seen estimates as high as 85 million dead from the war.
The royal feast was done; the King
Sought some new sport to banish care,
And to his jester cried: "Sir Fool,
Kneel now, and make for us a prayer!"

The jester doffed his cap and bells,
And stood the mocking court before;
They could not see the bitter smile
Behind the painted grin he wore.

He bowed his head, and bent his knee
Upon the Monarch's silken stool;
His pleading voice arose: "O Lord,
Be merciful to me, a fool!"

"Unfinished Victory" by Arthur Bryant.  Abut the inter war years.  Available for free.  Very critical history.

"Stalin's War"  Doesn't address the holocaust, but shows you a lot of the back story of WW2.

The true story of the holocaust is that it was a series of retribution killings for Ukraine, Romania, Bavaria, Hungary, Poland, and Lithuania.

My wife had to call up the publisher and leave a voicemail to order.  They called back the next morning so don't be discouraged if anyone is trying to order it.

I was able attend his first public promotion of the book. That's right, in Cincinnati. Got an autographed copy and picture. Some guy bought three copies!
