Dymphna, Ches? You guys, quit hiding on me. Or from me.

Here I am!  I had to do a quick perimeter check since someone called and thought they saw a "cougar".  It was Mrs Rolle's cat again.

Now, how are we going to celebrate your wonderful day?

Dymphna, they want me to ...you know...join them in a hot tub. I'm not feeling real good about this. Dymphna, it might be immodest. What should I do?  Go drinking at the casino instead? Dymphna, how can you say such a thing? I'm safer with fleur. You want to join her and stella, too? Ches can keep watch around here. He's NOT coming. Besides I doubt he has a swimsuit.

Only ankle lwngth swimsuit or jeromes modesty police will come from out of nowhere

Ches, you may wear those but maybe blow up pants would be more modest. Ya know what I mean?
blowvup pants.....like inflatable?
"I am not much of a Crusader, that is for sure, but at least I am not a Mohamedist!"

Well... I am sorry I wasn't there to properly receive you all this evening. But I see Fleur let you in with the "spare key", a.k.a. that big rock by the window. It looks like you had a good time too, judging by the empty bottles of cachaça and the bubble bath in the jacuzzi. Next time just give me a little warning, okay? And remember, I do have neighbors. Some of them even get up to go to church in the morning. So, dymphna, try to keep it down. And Carleendiane, please, take a cue from Chestertonian; if you don't have a swimsuit, help yourself to one in the cabana by the pool. I have a wide selection of burkinis that even Jerome must approve.

I'm sorry Stella.  At first I thought I was putting the empty bottles of bubble bath in the trash, then I realized I was wrong.  Then it became a game.  Who could I hit with an empty?  Then it was whomever I hit's turn to throw.  I knew we made quite a mess, and I had resolved to clean it up before I went to bed, but I sad down for a second to get a drink and boom! I went out like a light until a few minutes ago.

I'll get this cleaned up to look as good as new.  Crud, I missed breakfast too.  Well, let me say my morning prayers and then I'll get right on it.

Bernadette

It's officially Sunday Nap time.  ;D Made it through Mass and grocery shopping while trying to shake off mounting chest congestion/sinus cold. Blech. But now: reward. :)

Dark already. Snowy. Should I go to bed? No I say. No. Still much hours ahead until bed time. But, thread is open.
To board the struggle bus: no whining, board with a smile, a fake one will be found out and put off at next stop, no maps, no directions, going only one way, one destination. Follow all rules and you will arrive. Drop off at pearly gate. Bring nothing.

Dark and snowy?  Go out and play for a bit.  Then come in, sit by the fire, and have some hot chocolate.  You will be ready for bed in an instant.  :)

Went out. Drinking hot cocoa now. Really. Even before reading this. Great minds and all that. Dymphna, did you do anything fun today? No bubbles today? Drinks? Awesome desserts? Go out to eat? Have friends over? Come. We will play in the snow. And drink hot chocolate. Bring Bernadette. Tell her she can wear her down coat.

Ches, did you ever get over to Stellas last nite? Hope not. It was chaos I tell you. Fleur, ever so cool and composed, and Dymphna and i, just the opposite. I told her, dymphna, not to wear flippers in the hot tub. Well you can imagine the bubbles (Mr bubbles) those flippers drummed up. She forced me to try them on and, I too got a bit carried away. Not as much as dymphna of course, but I'm not proud of my self, Ches. Tell me you did not see any of this. Besides, it was a bit inappropriate. And my shower cap? Not very classy in the hot tub. Neither was the one I lent to dymphna, really. But Fleur was well behaved and tried to be a good sport about it all. Dymphna cleaned up the mess today. Stella will never know what went on while she was gone.

Dymphna, please forgive my above post. It's just, well....I don't get out much and when I do, I virtually do things I wouldn't ordinarily do, you see. Then.....I feel the need to confess to all what I do, virtually. Sorry I dragged you into it. It's just that your bad behavior, well, kinda made me look a tad better. Not very nice, huh? Good thing Bernadette wasn't at Stella''s last night.

So...I'm waiting for you to show yourself, dymphna. Fleur? You mad? Ches? Bernadette, Ste?la? Munda, Jubilate? Res? Diaduit? Elizabeth? Martin? Jayne, Lynne? Non? Miriam, Spera? Anybody? Clarence? Oh. He's gone. St Jerome? He's gone too. Heinrich? He NEVER COMES! Has everyone gone to more interesting threads?

We can talk about things that make sense tonight. We can talk about deep subjects. How about ligers, or beefalos. We can talk food. Or booze. Or theology. I can wax profound on a number of topics.

Too tired to come out and play this evening.  Yesteday was non stop.  First thing yesteday morning, Husband and half the kids brought cows to the butcher; me and and the other half went grocery shopping. Brunch when we got home, then God-daughter's birthday party after that, and didn't get home until late. Mass and visiting with friends today.  Worked on a Christmas gift for my inlaws when we got home. Had dinner, did my lesson plans for tomorrow, then built a puzzle with the kids.  Caught up on our St. Anthony novena at night prayers, and now it's almost 9 pm, and bedtime.  Nighty night.

I was just mentioning to Hubby today that tigers should be the King of the Jungle, not lions. Tigers are much more regal imho.
