The Council was very modern, however, steps the Popes have taken have been less-modern.  Still, not good, but less-bad than the Council was.

For me, I can (and sometimes do) see malicious-to-tradition actions from B16 and JPII.

Part of me awaits a more liberal pope who rolls back Universae Ecclesia and Summorum Pontificum and reinstates Ecclesia Dei Adflicta or Quottar Abhinc Annos!
