Totally didn't get the memo that there was a new message board....I blame Penelope and Kaeskopf or whatever his username is  ;D

I know Penelope in real life and she is my best friend! She introduced me to the TLM in our parish as well as FE. From what I've heard about FE, I'm convinced that if I had joined their message boards, I would have been banned in less than a month  :P So I'm glad this was created so I can be my normal, quirky self.

I studied nursing in college and I'm looking for a job as an RN (know of any nursing internships/residencies in your home states? please let me know!!). I like to read. I love dogs. I can cook and clean  :P (Haha, couldn't help but take this opportunity to self-advertise). Oh, and I also enjoy discussing all the slimy, logistical details of NFP.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Tradition and meeting like-minded individuals!

"Nothing is more miserable than those people who never failed to attack their own salvation. When there was need to observe the Law, they trampled it under foot. Now that the Law has ceased to bind, they obstinately strive to observe it. What could be more pitiable that those who provoke God not only by transgressing the Law but also by keeping it? But at any rate the Jews say that they, too, adore God. God forbid that I say that. No Jew adores God! Who say so? The Son of God say so. For he said: "If you were to know my Father, you would also know me. But you neither know me nor do you know my Father". Could I produce a witness more trustworthy than the Son of God?"  St. John Chrysostom  Sunday Homily

What brings you to SD?
To learn more about Tradition and to socialize.

Are you a member of other Internet fora?  If so, care to mention which one(s)?
Nope.

Why did you choose your username and avatar?
Lirael is my favorite book character. No, the books are not anime, though the trilogy seems to attract that kind of crowd...
My avatar is St. Mary Magdalene because she's totally hipster.

What is your state of life - single, married, religious, or still discerning?
Single.

Whereabouts do you live "in real life"? (be as specific or as general as you wish!)
Delaware.

Personality type?
INFJ/ANAL.

Favorite books?
Too many to list.

Favorite movies?
The Sound of Music and Pride and Prejudice (the epic BBC version)

Favorite TV shows?
I don't have much time for TV but I do watch Revenge every week. And I am highly amused by MTV's Catfish and Jersey Shore.

Favorite sports/teams
I don't watch sports.

Have any hobbies?
Running. Living vicariously through my brother and sister-in-law's blog. Making people uncomfortable.

Pet peeves:
Picky eaters need to grow the eff up.

Fun random fact about yourself:
I have one TV in my house and no wireless Internet. It almost feels like the Stone Age.
Why art thou sad, o my soul? And why dost thou disquiet me?

Oh, hai. I know you! I'm so glad you're here! Now you'll get to find out about all the trad stuff we can't talk about in our little diocesan TLM world.
