The Complete Short Stories of Saki. I fell in love with these when I was 16 and haven't read them in a couple of decades. It's like reading them again for the first time. I have them on kindle, and am waiting to get them on Audible with my next credit.

That was a great book! Also you have to read her: "Seabiscuit" the story about the famous racehorse, the man who owned it; the one who trained it, and the two jockeys that rode it. What a great and moving story.

And along the same lines, is: "Eight Men in a Boat" Daniel James Brown; the story of the U.S. Skull team that won the gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympic games. Mostly deals with one of the members of the crew, Joseph Rantz; a great story.
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers

Thank you for the recommendations. I will certainly look out for them. I vaguely remember watching a movie a number of years ago regarding Seabiscuit. So, I will certainly be on the look out for books.

Little House on the Prairie. I'm anxious and wanted something comforting. These books really ignited my love of reading when I was little. We read the first book in 3rd grade, and I loved it so much I went home and read the whole rest of the series. I'm sending the first book to my niece for Christmas, along with a deluxe edition of The Chronicles of Narnia, which I also loved at that age.

Was just lent this from a friend, can't wait to start on it tonight. Been wanting to read it for a while but it's hard to come by:

Someone on Twitter I follow had commissioned an icon of the holy Exarch, I want the same for my house:

Have you read the prequels?  My wife has all of them besides Little House.
