No habéis comentado lo irónico de este hecho histórico:

La mayoría de unidades no se sumaron al levantamiento, pero estaba expectantes a la reacción del Rey Juan Carlos I. Este fue su discurso:



El Rey se posicionó en contra del levantamiento y ordenó a las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del Estado poner orden para defender el "Orden Constitucional". Esto condenó el levantamiento al fracaso.

Ahora bien, voy a citar un párrafo del testamento de Franco:

Lo irónico de este suceso es que, los militares, al obedecer al Rey y oponerse al levantamiento, en realidad estaban obedeciendo a Franco.

El Rey quien habia jurado a sostener los principios del movimiento cuando tomo possession de su trono; se perjuro y ayudo a desmantelar la Constitucion de Franco y mas tarde, despues de dar su apoyo a los militares para dar el golpe, salio en su contra.
