There has been some concern expressed regarding Maximilian's recent ban. Some seem to think that our decision to ban Maximilian was sudden or entirely without context. We assure you that this is untrue. Patterns in Maximilian's posting behavior have been escalating for quite some time, and the staff has been discussing the appropriate course of action to take for a while. In particular, we are concerned about Maximilian's habit of generic wild accusations against women, and then when challenged proceeding to attempt to justify himself with his interpretation of a teaching of the Church.  He quickly tends to backpedal, all the while avoiding direct questions and answering with ad hominems.  This is unacceptable posting behavior for anyone. "The straw that broke the camel's back" were his posts in these recent threads. http://www.suscipedomine.com/forum/index.php?topic=10441.0 and http://www.suscipedomine.com/forum/index.php?topic=10422.0.

The length of this ban reflects the ban schedule; Maximilian had already incurred shorter bans.

If you disagree with our assessment that is your right, but this matter is closed for discussion.  In the future, baseless accusations against either sex with not be tolerated.  We should all be encouraging each other to strive to do our best according to our state in life.  The nitpicking and laying the problems of the world at the feet of either sex will not be tolerated. We all have enough problems outside of the traditional Catholic world, we don't need to drag each other through the mud here.

We ask that, in charity, each of you include SD and it's members in your Rosary today.
"All the good works in the world are not equal to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass because they are the works of men; but the Mass is the work of God. Martyrdom is nothing in comparison for it is but the sacrifice of man to God; but the Mass is the sacrifice of God for man." - St. John Vianney
