Pretty amazing.  Milei has won the election.

Harsh critic of Bergoglio and pro-Life.

If he gets his economic reforms in, he'll put Argentina on a road to recovery.  Unfortunately there will be a year of depression as all the parasites, corruption, and waste are flushed out of the system.

On his side is the massive oil and gas deposits along the Andes.  He seems like the type to get the pipelines approved so that Argentina can exploit those huge deposits.  If he does it right, he can repeat the Guyana miracle.

Still have to pray for him and his party though, as I read an article on his artificially cloned dogs and that kind of stuff (artificial cloning, IVF, Gene Therapy etc) is very problematic as it can often border on playing god, making mankind in 'our' image. No longer a free gift and surprise, but rather a product designed by fallible man.

It's a positive development nonetheless, especially given his views on abortion.

Is anybody's Spanish good enough to give us a more literal translation of this?  Mine isn't good enough to keep up, but it was just good enough to identify that the captioner took some minor liberties (i.e. a "dynamic equivalence" translation...)
