Lourdes appearances - the early investigation

Are there any books that capture the Church perspective of Lourdes in the early years? (prior to 'worthy of belief)  I'd love to read the thoughts of our clergy during that time -  sermons, correspondences, debate accounts.

I haven't heard of any or come across them, but they would be interesting. 

I imagine they'd all be in French, though.
