With Biden in the White House you might think the Chinese would take Taiwan, if they ever intend to.

Basically people discussing whether to stand up to or appease China.

Wolf Warrior diplomacy does have its drawbacks. The Chinese have just found that out.

US, Australia, India, Japan. The Quad. Check mate. Geopolitics at its finest.

Unless something drastically happens to the US, the Chinese have just found themselves hemmed in by the first island chain for the foreseeable future.

Xi is just proving himself to be another autocrat committing blunderous mistakes.

This is alarming.

Cops turning up at Australian's door (in another state of NSW not Victoria) asking them whether they have been on protests, who they are communicating with about protests and what future protests they plan to go on.

Australia never should have disarmed.

Second incursion into Taiwan's airspace in a day.

That is a first.  China has never done two incursions in the same day before or even back to back days.

Anything happens to distract the USA now and Taiwan gets hammered shock and awe style then invaded.

Does it matter? The USA has been collectively murdering babies in the womb, tolerating violent crime from certain populations, and accepting the government shutting down their businesses and spying on them. People's gun rights are now taken away for life with a misdemeanor conviction and sometimes without due process in the case of Red Flag laws. What good has the US population being armed done?

If attending Mass, the ordinary form as celebrated everyday around the world be sinful, then the Church no longer exists. Period.
Rather, if the NOM were the lex credendi of the Church, then the Church would no longer exist. However, the true mass and the true sacraments still exist and will hold the candle of faith until Our Lord steps in to restore His Bride to her glory.
We could compare ourselves to the Catholics in England at the time of the Reformation. Was it sinful for them to attend Cranmer's service?
We have to remind ourselves that all the machinery of the "Church" continued in place. They had priests, bishops, churches, cathedrals. But all of them were using the new "Book of Common Prayer" instead of the Catholic Mass. Ordinary lay people could see with their own eyes an enormous entity that called itself the "Church," but did the true Church still exist in that situation? Meanwhile, in small hiding places in certain homes were a handful of true priests offering the true Mass at the risk of imprisonment, torture and death.

Good points.

Add foreign invasion/population replacement to the list. Everyone's scared of the government and for good reason.

These are great examples of evils that shouldn't be tolerated.  But guns aren't the solution to every problem.

Largest incursion into Taiwan Air Defence Zone so far.

China TAIPEI, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Taiwan's air force scrambled again on Friday to warn away 38 Chinese aircraft that entered its air defence zone, the defence ministry in Taipei said, the same day as China marked its national day, the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Chinese-claimed Taiwan has complained for a year or more of repeated missions by China's air force near the democratically governed island, often in the southwestern part of its air defence zone close to the Taiwan-controlled Pratas Islands.

The latest Chinese mission involved 18 J-16 and four Su-30 fighters plus two nuclear-capable H-6 bombers and an anti-submarine aircraft, the Taiwan ministry said.

It said Taiwan sent combat aircraft to warn away the Chinese aircraft, while missile systems were deployed to monitor them.

The Chinese aircraft all flew in an area close to the Pratas, with the two bombers flying closest to the atoll, according to a map that the ministry issued.

There was no immediate comment from China.
