This is exactly what I was talking about on the hijacked octopus thread. Bees have brains the size of a sesame seed, and yet they are smarter than a young child.

This latest study that shows that bees can understand the concept of zero is interesting. Previous studies have shown many remarkable abilities demonstrated by bees. Yet their brains are miniscule.

Where does intelligence really come from?
