War Updates - Russia is losing. Why? Because it is not on God's Side imho. I like what Lincoln said: "Let us not say that God is in our side" - as Putin does - "but let us try to do what is right, so that we may be on God's Side". Bombing and killing civilians is not right.

"1. Russian attack on Mariupol 'massive war crime', says EU
European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Josep Borrell decried Russia's attack on the Ukrainian port city Mariupol as "a massive war crime", as EU discussed imposing more sanctions on Moscow.

"What's happening now in Mariupol is a massive war crime, destroying everything, bombarding and killing everybody," Borrell said at the start of a meeting of EU foreign ministers. (AFP)

2. Around 15,000 Russian soldiers killed since war started, says Ukraine

3. Russian troops won't take Kyiv, will try to hold southeastern parts: Report
As per a report, Russia has changed its strategy and will now focus on trying to hold the southeastern parts of Ukraine, instead of taking Kyiv. The report cites high-ranking officials in the US administration."

No side violently fighting in this conflict is on God's side. And if this war is allowed to continue by the peoples of Russia, Ukraine and the West (whose governments are pouring fuel on the fire), everyone will lose. If the Russians are not able to demand of their government that they stop the war, then a heavy responsibility is placed on the shoulders of the people of Ukraine. They must surrender to the Russian demands of neutrality and so on, and should arguably have done so long ago . The current official policy of Ukraine which resists a reasonable agreement with Russia and strives to pull all of the West into its war with Russia, risks igniting the Third World War. There is nothing 'glorious' (as the Zelenskyan propaganda will have it) in being willing to risk triggering a Third World War because one is too stubborn in one's national pride to the point of stupidity, insanity and delusion. It is suicidal and completely irrational through and through. What are these people really fighting for? It is all a mirage. The masses are being hypnotized and mind-controlled into dancing to the tune of the Devil.
"Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her."

Hello Brother Olavsson. Welcome to the Forum.

Imho, Russia is not serious about Peace, but just looking for an excuse to prolong the War. They've had plenty of opportunities for Peace already if they really wanted it. Zelensky has pretty much capitulated or caved to most of Moscow's demands. But it just isn't enough for the Kremlin. No, the root issue here is that Communism never really died in the erstwhile Soviet Union. Only the Consecration will bring Peace to Russia.

Quote from: Russia NewsThe militants of the nationalist battalion "Azov" were planning terrorist attacks in Lviv, a surrendered officer of the Security Service of Ukraine said. The attacks were planned on the territory of the diplomatic missions of the United States and other Western countries.

Questionable report.  I question why an officer of the SBU based in the east would know about this false flag.

But in case this is true, an "attack" on the embassy of the US would be considered an act of war.  However, IF this happens, ask yourself why the Russians would risk a dangerous bombing when they have already demonstrated their capabilities with a cruise missile.

There's the narrative shift.  Russia was trying to conquer all of Ukraine.  Russia is trying to take Kiev (which still has power and INTERNET).  Now they are "trying" to "hold" their gains in the south east.

You just saw Peter Lancaster enter Mariupol.  The Russians are conquering the East, which is their strategic objective.  They are in the middle of their war plans and are advancing on targets in the east.  Russia has never said that they want to take over all of Ukraine.  They don't even refer to this as a war.  Think.

Started a new thread on that: https://www.suscipedomine.com/forum/index.php?topic=27792.0 It's obvious to me the invasion is going badly.

Putin is living in his own world in self-denial. The Russian Ruble has plummeted in a huge way. The Russian Stock market hasn't even bothered re-opening for nearly 3 weeks, with limited trading only just allowed today. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-60821258 Meanwhile, Putin sports $ 15,000 jackets, seemingly unaware of, or coldly indifferent to, the economic hardships of even Russian People.

"Russia-Ukraine war: Vladimir Putin's jacket is from Italian luxury brand Loro Piana. A petition has been started online, asking the company to boycott him.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is facing backlash on social media for sporting a luxury jacket at a rally in Moscow on March 18, where he justified his war on Ukraine.

The dark-blue jacket is reportedly from Loro Piana, an Italian brand that specialises in high-end, luxury wool and cashmere products. It costs a whopping 1.5 million rubles (approximately $13,953).

The jacket is made from "quilted cashmere, with white goose down feathers for padding, goat suede trims and 100% virgin wool," according to a Telegraph report.

Vladimir Putin wore the jacket over a white sweater, which, according to the newspaper, costs 3,200 pounds (approximately, $4,217.92).

Social media users were furious about the leader's extravagance, given that his invasion of Ukraine has brought on economic damage, even to his own country, and an enormous humanitarian crisis."

Another newly-registered Russian troll? OK, I'll take it at face-value. If you substitute Nazi Germany for Russia and Poland for Ukraine in your argument it would mean that Poland was wrong in defending itself from Hitler's agression in 1939, which is nothing short of nonsensical. According to your logic, Poland should have surrendered in 1939 to avoid WW2.

Having a large chunk of your country stolen by a neighbor under threat of invasion is not a "reasonable" agreement. Ukrainians have every right to defend themselves from Russian agression and to defend their country.

By the way, it looks like I was right about Russian casualties and Heinrich was (again) wrong. Komsomolskaya Pravda (pro-Putin newspaper) internet website published numbers citing Russian Defense Ministry as a source - 9861 killed and 16,153 wounded. They quickly deleted it, but a WebArchive version is still there:

https://web.archive.org/web/20220321131726/https://www.kp.ru/online/news/4672522/
?? ?????? ?????????? ??, ? ???? ???????????? ?? ??????? ?? ?? ???????? ??????? 9861 ????????, ??????? ???????? 16153 ????????.

https://twitter.com/yarotrof/status/1505972650786672648

If that data is really from Russian MoD, it means it does not include DPR and LPR, and probably Kadyrov's Chechens' losses, which means that the Ukrainian claim of 15.000 killed is not far from truth. So, in total some 30.000 invaders dead or wounded, and we are not even a month into the war.

Also, Russia's Black Sea Fleet deputy commander was killed by Ukrainians, confirmed by Russian sources. Some of the Russian generals killed recently were supposedly talking through unprotected cellphones which were tracked down by Ukrainians ::).

It's a wonder nobody has mentioned Putin's mercenary neo-nazi de facto private army yet.  The Wagner Group.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wagner_Group

QuoteWagner Group

The Wagner Group (Russian: ?????? ???????, romanized: Gruppa Vagnera), also known as PMC Wagner, ChVK Wagner (ChVK being the Russian abbreviation for Private Military Company),[34] or CHVK Vagner (??? ??????? ChVK Vagnera, ??????? ??????? ???????? ???????), is a Russian paramilitary organization. It is variously described as a private military company, a network of mercenaries, or a de facto private army of Russian President Vladimir Putin.[35]

The Wagner Group came to global prominence during the war in Donbas in Ukraine, where it aided separatist forces of the self-declared Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics from 2014 to 2015. Its contractors have reportedly taken part in various conflicts around the world—including the civil wars in Libya, Syria, the Central African Republic (CAR), and Mali—often fighting on the side of forces aligned with the Russian government. Though welcomed by some allied factions, such as the governments of Syria and the CAR, Wagner operatives have been accused of war crimes in areas where they are deployed.[36][37]

Because it often operates in support of Russian interests or foreign policy objectives, and is reportedly trained on installations of the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD), several sources consider ChVK Wagner an arm's-length unit of the MoD and/or Russia's military intelligence agency, the GRU.[38] Likewise, the group is widely believed to be owned and/or financed by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a businessman with close links to Putin. It is speculated that the Wagner Group is used by the Russian government to allow for plausible deniability in certain conflicts; it has most recently been tied to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, where it has been asserted to have been deployed to assassinate Ukrainian leaders

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Utkin

QuoteDmitry Utkin

Dmitry Valerievich Utkin (Russian: ??????? ?????????? ?????; born 11 June 1970) is a GRU special forces officer, where he served as a lieutenant colonel.[1] He is considered the founder of Wagner Group, with his own call-sign reportedly being Wagner.[2][3][4][5][6] Utkin has received four Orders of Courage.
...
Utkin has been alleged to have sympathies with the Third Reich by the Latvia-based Meduza and believed to be a neo-Nazi by the British NationalWorld. In 2022 images surfaced of Utkin purportedly showing Waffen SS collar tab and Reichsadler Eagle tattoos on his collar and chest.[10][11] Additionally, several prominent members of the Wagner group have been photographed or recorded in Nazi uniforms or taking part in re-enactments of WWII events.

"Russian (and international) neo-Nazis make up the ranks within the #Wagner Group and other international right-wing militiamen fight and train alongside them in the Russian invasion of Ukraine."

So who'd a thunk it eh.  Neo-nazis fighting on both sides of the conflict.  At least with the Azov Battalion's hatred for communism that's understandable.  It's a mystery about the Wagner Group though.

There is also Chechens fighting on both sides of the conflict.  Chechens that want to separate from Russia are fighting on the side of the Ukrainians.  And there's a Chechen Battalion loyal to Putin fighting on the Russian side.

Oh by the way James, I think I need to remind you again that only a minority of about one third of the population of the Donbas are ethnic Russians.  So besides the Wagner Group and other Russian troops it kind of makes you wonder who made up the "separatists" in Donbas.  And they already had a "french Canadian" style culture in Donbas with 75 percent of the population speaking Russian, even a lot of the ethnic Ukrainians spoke Russian.  So why do you think Putin wanted to start the "separatist" movement in Donbas eight years ago ... hmm ... you know just after Kyiv's Independence Square Maidan where they smashed a statue of Vladimir Lenin.

Last but not least.  The Russian separatist forces in Donbas' war flag.  I kid you not.  :)
