Hector, Tamer of Horses

I saw Wait Until Dark this weekend on TCM.  Very good.  Pretty creepy for 1967.

I've never read any of the Bronte Sisters' books, but I just started "Sense and Sensibility", and I find that I have to keep a book mark with a description of the characters, to keep them all straight.

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." "Sense and Sensibility" is Austen, not Brontë.

Har! I can then say that I haven't read anything by the Bronte Sisters, even when I finish "Sense and Sensibility" (if I get through it).

LoL. Yes Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility are both Austen. Ive never read S&S but I have read P&P which was excellent. This version of the movie is the best. Collin Firth is fantastic as Mr. Darcy.

Thanks Archer; my sister is a big big fan of both Austen and the Bronte sisters. Her two all time favorites are "Pride and Prejudice" and "Emma".
