Will everyone please stop leaving!  >:(    Bonaventure, Petrie, Godfrey of Bouillon, - that's it, right?

Thus far.  I hope for SD's sake that's the end of this exodus.

It depends on how active and engaged a poster you are.  The three who left this week were regular posters and generally well-liked and -respected ones.  That's going to put a drag on forum traffic.  Things will be a little bit duller now.

With Crimson Flyboy gone, that could also impact the posting frequency of voxxpopulisuxx (doubt it, though), rbjmartin and james03.

True, but your best stuff usually comes out during long, protracted arguments with single opponents.  Before the Crimson Flyboy and his Objectivism, it was Gloria Patri and his heliocentrism.  Those were both epic threads.  You're a genuine distance runner.  Someone like me is just a sprinter: effective in the short run, but tires quickly.  Or maybe boxing would be a better metaphor.  Well, whatever the case, your Hauptmann status will be well-earned when you get there.  I hope you'll make a celebratory thread in the Coffee & Donuts section when you do.

It's hardly my heliocentrism, more like God's heliocentrism, but I digress. Godspeed to you Petrie, and God bless.

I meant to say "the Coffee Pot," not "Coffee & Donuts."  It's too late to edit it now.  By quoting me, GloriaPatri has immortalized my mistake; not that he did so intentionally.  What's done is done.

Peter falks Columbo series is my favorite because of his detective work style....draw your oppanant out on a limb little by little till hes run out of limb...then looking back sees only me with my big ass saw ...lol 8)

Not to derail this thread, but I liked Columbo at the beginning of the series, because the character initially was just an ordinary Italian guy who by dint of his dogged work, would eventually trap his much more intelligent criminal adversary.  By the end, the character had become a super genius that through his cleverness could figure out right away by looking at the crime scene, who the criminal was, and then proceeded to have the criminal expose himself by clever stratagems.
Petrie and Godfrey,
I'm sorry you are leaving, and I wish you both Godspeed, and hope you both return soon.
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers
