Boniface3

Hi everyone
My name comes from St. Boniface, the great saint and missionary to Germany who was killed in the Netherlands.
I am a traditional Catholic and from the Netherlands, almost a contradiction these days sadly.
My interests are very much theology and Bible stuff.
Are there any other Dutch on here?

Hello Boniface3

I am not Dutch, but I from England, UK. Like yourself, I am new to Suscipe Domine, only been here for a few days. Everyone has been friendly, and helpful. So now I get to welcome someone.

When I think of Catholicism in Holland, I think of the Catholic children's book, "The Winged Watchman." It was one of my favorites as a child.

It's very gouda to meet you! :cheeseheadbeer:

I've always admired the ingenuity and pluck of the Dutch, what they built from a country that's pretty much a big marsh is astounding. And yes: cheese. I didn't realize Boniface was killed in that country.

Lol I love England... such a shame it became what it is now. Really a beautiful country

I absolutely agree with you. Hopefully, with patience, and faith, good will prevail.
